Stunning viewsWhat a stunning place to stay. The views are awesome. Its a family run hotel and the staff are very nice and helpful, Its also dog friendly and they have their own dog who just loves a bit of attention now and again. So cute as well. We arrived here on our motorbike and parked right outside the hotel in a space just big enough for the bike. We was booked in here for 4 nights so we could explore the area. Great choice of hotel on the lake. We checked in and was shown to our room on the top floor. The lift only goes to the 2nd floor and only fits 2 people in so we walked up with the lady from reception. It was hard work in bike gear and extermly hot but it was worth it. Our room was massive with a hugh balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The air con worked great and was much needed and it stayed on when we wasnt in the room. With it being an attic room you needed the air con. We turned it right down at night so we was comfortable. The bed was comfy and we had a fridge which was great for chilling our drinks. Another great balcony to sit late at night and drink wine looking at the views. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water for showers. We didnt have any problems with the water pressure and there was only 2 rooms on our floor. Next door had a much smaller balcony then we did and i think there room must of been a lot smaller looking at the layout of the floor. The hotel has a big outside sitting area which is used for breakfast and snacks or for just having a drink and watching the boats on the lake. They also have a private beach area with sunbeds to relax on. Outside the hotel is a footpath going along the side of the lake. You could walk for miles stopping at the bars along the way. There was a few restaurants along the path where we went most nights as the hotels menu didnt really have much on at night. Shame really. Breakfast was really good and you could eat in or outsdie looking a the views. We had a really bad thunder storm one night, not much rain at the time but it was stunning to watch. Sadly the next morning it was raining so everyone was eating inside and some people had to wait for a table. The good thing about this area is you can drive 10 minutes down the road and the weather is totally different. The rain didnt last long but at least it cooled things down a bit. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel if you didnt want to drive or ride but because of where the hotel is it didnt take us long to get to different places around the lake. There are some stunning places as well. We was glad we was staying for the 4 nights. Someone decided to park their car in the little space we parked the bike and i was amazed it didnt get hit on the road as the back end was sticking out lol There is another carpark across the road from the hotel so dont try and squeeze your car in on the front. Just leave that for bikes and you might not get the back end of your car taken off. Amusing to watch anyway but thats the road around there. We did return to our room one day to find a lovely lizard sat in the middle of the floor. I think because of the air con being on it had got too cold for it which made it easy to catch. We put him back outside on the roof and after he warmed up he shot off and didnt come back lol Poor thing must of been frozen. The hotel is in a very quiet area and so peaceful.

Exceptional place and serviceWhat a great place to stay, right by the lake with their private beach and deck. Convenient parking to the hotel. Staff is most helpful and goes above and beyond. Breakfast provided is absolutely blinding and the lady who serves the hot drinks in the morning makes excellent cappuccino and macchiato. The dinner options are a bit limited but everything they have on offer is 5*. Close to major attractions like mount Baldo, Riva, waterpark or Verona, Bologna Venice just to name a few is easily accessible for a day out. Close to local restaurants on the promenade with plenty of pasta, pizza and seafood on offer. If you like cakes visit Olivio's! Rooms a bit dated and could do with a bit of TLC and aircon, but it kept very clean on a daily basis. Do I recommend it? 100%, it's a great place to stay with the family.

Incredible viewsWe booked this hotel after the original one we booked messed us around with payment & dates. We are so glad we found this hotel, it was perfect. Staff were so helpful, kind and it seems they can speak almost any language as we discovered at breakfast, they make the effort to talk to everyone, making people feel welcome. On one of our days here, we wanted to get a ferry to the Limone and the receptionist was a great help, explaining the times there and back and prices to us. They also offer a discount card for ferries, which you can catch from the port approx 20 mins walk away to any other town on the lake. There is also a bus stop right opposite the hotel which we used to get to Malcesine. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds so comfy. We opted for a balcony view of the lake upon booking and it is definitely worth paying a little more / waking up to the sound of waves is so beautiful and calming. Breakfast is fantastic, theres lots of fruit, breads, eggs, salads and meats, cereals and fresh juice. The coffee is beautiful too, so fresh tasting. Breakfast is buffet style and you can eat either in the balcony with a view of the lake, on the terrace or in the garden. The hotel offers a private pebble beach, with sun loungers also. We spent one whole day there and it was perfect, although dont be fooled by the wind as it was still so hot that I sunburned my legs! Theres some lovely restaurants not far away too, don Pedro was one that we ate at a few times and the food was amazing. Cant recommend this hotel enough!
