  Visit to Wellsboro

  A bit overstuffed but cozy furnishing in our bedroom and throughout the house, and large bathroom with jacuzzi. Nice location in the center of town. Very disappointing breakfast. Nothing made to order. No cereal, oatmeal, toast, jam, fresh fruit, eggs or any of the usual breakfast items one would expect. Only two item choices (a quiche and an apple based dessert) and a coffee maker. Such poor breakfast is hard to justify at an over $200 a night B&B.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the La Belle B&B. It was our anniversary getaway! First time at a B&B. We loved it! It was right up town from all the restaurants and shopping. Very nice location. We walked to dinner every night! The restaurants were also very good! Its close drive to the Pa Grand Canyon and a 45 minute drive to the Corning Museum. And also Watkins Glenn state park! We had the Jardins suite - with both a shower and jacuzzi tub ! It was wonderful after a long hike in the parks!! The bed was very comfortable, and we had a balcony to set out on also ! It was just a lovely place. We enjoyed it very much!

  Interesting French style decor, very luxurious

  They don't have staff on the premises. Instead they leave you an envelope in a mailbox by the door, with the key to your room and to the front door. If you book directly with them, they send an email to tell you this. If you book via hotel.com, you don't get that email. The B&B is very clean and welcoming. All very ornately decorated in old-fashioned French style. We stayed in the Jardin room - has a huge bathroom with jakuzzi, loads of towels, and a little balcony off that. The bedroom was a little cramped compared to the bathroom at least. Far too many cushions and pillows on the bed and nowhere much to put them when you don't want them. Great location for Wellsboro. Friendly cook appeared in the morning to cook breakfast (only starts at 9am), and the breakfast was good . The price was higher than we normally pay and it was possibly a bit overpriced. Room a bit too hot (especially with all the comforters/duvets). We ate at the Penn Wells in the bar which was very good. Also went to an excellent play at the Warehouse Theater.

  Great Romantic Destination

  Spent a long weekend here with my Wife. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The Breakfasts were really good as well! The whole experience was hat we really expect and wish for from a B&B. The Suite with Whirlpool was a bonus.

  Lovely place

  We were so excited for our winter escape to Wellsboro and La Belle did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back in the Summer so we can enjoy the porch. It is a great location with lots of comforts. We hiked in the canyon and came back and warmed up by the fireplace with just a push of a button. Cautions were taken during Covid that made us feel safe. Our room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room, And, the couples massage was wonderful. There are a lot of spa services to enjoy. Hospitality was wonderful!
