  We spent a few days there and were delighted. A private beach with supervision/umbrellas/showers/etc.. is available right in front (to be paid extra, though); very comfortable for families with kids. The service was very good, nice staff. Hotel was calm and cozy, with customizable AC in each room. Food was good and in good quantities. It's situated right in the center of Alassio, so you can go shop or wander any time you want. On our last day, we planned to check-out our rooms and stay in the beach till the afternoon, but the owner told us we could keep the room till our departure with no extra charge. This is just a kind gesture on their behalf; I hope they won't be asked to do the same for any new customer from now on;-)

  Wonderful place to stay

  What an amazing little family run hotel. Falling asleep to the sounds of the Mediterranean Sea from our sea view terrace room for 6 nights was wonderful. The maid service was spotless and very prompt (even changing my red wine glasses for clean ones). The entire front desk staff and restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful (no-one took a single day off during our stay). The breakfast was very enjoyable while offering a wide selection. A push button cappuccino machine (while I'm sure is considered sacrilegious-religious in Italy) actually provided good drinks. Have no fear though as there is a real espresso machine beside the front desk. The beach, although run separately was spotlessly clean and run very efficiently while at the same time offering decent value for chair / umbrella rentals. Alassio is a little pocket of paradise that is very popular with Italian tourists and their families (and rightfully so) that has yet to be discovered by American, British, German etc tourists. Pedestrian only streets with great shopping for men and women. Fantastic restaurants abound all over town and we witnessed live music nightly in the piazza. Perfectly situated a short train ride away from Nice, Monaco and Genova. A Four Seasons or Ritz it is not, but if you're looking for a well run clean hotel right on the beach then look no further.

  Lovely friendly hotel

  Brilliant location walk out of the hotel straight onto the beach. Very friendly and welcoming family run hotel. Spotless room, cleaned daily to a high standard. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again
