  Amazing discovery

  My mother used to tell me 'You could go further and fare worse' and this certainly applies to the Kyriad in La Ferte Bernard. Situated in the business quarter of this lively historic town and almost hidden by the trees lining the road is the Kyriad hotel and restaurant. We were there with an organised party for a pre-booked lunch and I was very impressed. Although speed (for France) was important, there was no sense of being processed. The dining room was charming and tasteful, the seating vey comfortable, the service was attentive and the food was absolutely delicious, I would be very happy to stay here, as although it is a budget hotel aimed at the business community it is also an ideal stay for a few days when visiting this area. .

  Great budget hotel

  We had a large suitcase and since there are no elevators, we were able to get a ground-floor room facing the back. This was nice because you had no one passing by as you might have on the parking lot side. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was a full buffet of food that was worth the price. We didn't like that there was a price difference between the two twin beds and the double bed room. We are a couple so we paid more to get the double bed. I don't see why there is a price difference.

  Cheap, cheerful but pleasant stay

  This hotel is cheap and cheerful and ideal for what we needed. We spent one night in le Ferte-Bernard after a chateau tour. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean although basic. We stayed in a twin room which was the cheapest rate of 59 for the night. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk to the town centre and there is a Lidls located less than a minute walk away. The hotel has complimentary parking and you can pay by cash or card. The room had complimentary tea, coffee and a kettle however the kettle had quite a lot of limescale so we popped to Lidl and got a coffee for 50c! The room was great for what we needed and the bed was really comfy!

  Excellent hotel!

  A great place to stay when visiting La Ferte Bernard .The second time we have stayed there when going to Le Mans for the racing. Cheap ,cheerful,great staff,good food! What more could you ask for??? Very easy to get to LeMans by either train or by car.Great places to eat and drink within the village itself,only 5 minutes walk away.Manager and staff superb!

  Nice stay

  My wife and I stayed at the Kyriad La Ferte Bernard for one night. The hotel is outside the central part of town but only about a 10 minute walk. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The room was simple and clean. Small bar area. Parking right in front. The restaurant is bright and modern. We ate the appetizer buffet and that was plenty for us. Good price.
