  Heritage & Open space wedding party at average quality

  Attended wedding party at Kusuma Sahid Prince Hotel known by KSPH. Nice decoration, total pax approx of 500 , quite crowd since wedding used standing party, over all food & beverage quality stand at average , fortunately live cooking of spaghetti attack the attention. Also available Solo signature culinary Tengkleng. Here under are several things need improvement, old red chair cover as well as skirting, several hanging lamp off, low quality of cutleries (spoon), parking lot is not proper, to small & bothering us

  It would be great with improvements

  This is an amazing old hotel that should improved to catch up with the 5 stars label that they claimed. + the position is in the middle of the city + amazing lobby with traditional Javanese architecture + easy check in process with friendly staff + spacious room if compared with most of new hotels nowadays - breakfast is so far from the expectation, needs alot of improvements about the varieties of the food & taste. - there are mosquitoes in my room that made me hard to sleep - the white towel are stained - I couldn't have hot water during my 2 night stay - and the last, I find there are cocroach in the bathroom. Conclusion: I would be very happy come back when you have improved.

  DISGUSTING

  'On arrival told 'Breakfast included'only for 1 morning, not the 3 we would be there. Room smelt of body odours, stains on torn carpet, on walls, no toilet paper, black mould on toilet, brown stained bath, broken cupboards, torn sheets. Left hotel immediately. It's a disgustingly dirty place and probably unhealthy.

  Beautiful lobby

  Historical hotel with a large yard and welcoming lobby. The wood carving and the complete set of Javanese gamelan makes the hotel lobby unique and beautiful. They play the gamelan in the evening for the hotel guests. Large room but could use new paint and minor repairs, especially the bathroom. Good restaurant and clean outdoor pool. Take a guided tour to the palace "Keraton Solo".

  Mixed feelings

  I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand, its a nice and spacious classical hotel with big rooms, a nice and big pool, nice restaurant, a bathtub in the bathroom etc. And it's affordable. On the other hand, it's obvious that the hotel has seen better days in the past, and that the lack of maintenance might be the reason why it looks a bit old, "worn", run-down. I was very excited though, that our bedroom was right at the swimming pool, which is the main reason why i decided to stay there. I wish the bathtub would be cleaned a bit deeper, to make it more inviting to take a bath in it. Also the watertap could be cleaned more, decalcified. The pillow case and bedsheet are fine. The TV was a bit dark so at some channels you could hardly recognize what you watch. The breakfast buffet is recommendable. The pool is nice, big and clean. The bottleopened could be removed, there's no way i'd use it to open a bottle. The hotel is well located, its easy to get around by walking. In general i am quite satisfied and might stay there again during my next trip to Solo.
