  Beautiful Family run hotel in Bavaria

  Being a seasoned traveller of Germany, I found this hotel to be a hidden gem in Bavaria. The hotel is family run with exceptional service that you expect from Bavaria. I spent a week with my wife and young son at the hotel. All the staff were very accommodating to us and showed us the true meaning of the Bavarian welcome. Being from the UK was not a problem and we were assisted with local directions. The hotel has a great indoor swimming pool that was a joy for us. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant that serves great Bavarian favourites as well hearty dishes for our tastes. The Bedrooms are truly exceptional, we had a balcony overlooking the allgau countryside. Greenery as far as the eye can see. If you know the standard of rooms in Germany then you know what a clean and faultless bedroom is. The Hotel Alexa in Bad Worishofen is a fine example. The location is great for walking and relaxation. The town is not far from Munich and were able to spend day trips to the Bavarian state capital. I recommend the main market if you want to see a great example of German food. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

  beautiful hotel

  My girlfriend and I stayed here recently upon the recommendation of a friend. The rooms were lovely with large balconies. They staff were friendly and spoke English very well. The indoor swimming pool and spa were made for the perfect and relaxing long weekend. The location is right in the centre of town and just outside of Munich if you want the big city nightlife. We only ate in the restaurant once but it was a fantastic meal with excellent service everything was done just right. We really enjoyed the experience and look forward to going back.

  not a great hotel

  do not expect much from this hotel-you get what you pay for!! Breakfast - the milk was gone off all that was available to eat was fruit (which was very dry) a kinder bar and a capre sonne drink so much for healthy breakfast! the owner was lovely but some staff had little english and were not very helpful- was told that the restaraunt was not open for dinners after being told when we checked in that dinner was on. So maybe communication among staff needs to be improved? there was no night porter we had to get a front door key from owner to let ourselves back to hotel when doors were locked at 8pm! the hotel isnt all bad the rooms were very clean and views were beautiful. the area is lovely if you want to do nothing. there are plenty of hairdresser, clothes shops for older people and ice cream palours. (stay away from italien one very rude staff) if you need provisions like water icecream there is a small turkish shop up other end of town. Or you could hire a car and drive to the next town. was an experience but will not be back to this "hotel" or area again

  Personal not very friendly. Rooms are very old, no shutters. The heating doed not work.I have been advised by the owner to not eat at the restaurant as I would not be welcome. The parking is tiny and small. The breakfast is poor and before 7:30, no chance to get one. This hotel is old and not a single cent seems to have been put to keep it at a good standard. Absolutely NOT for professionals.
