  Como hotel es un poco justito. Las dos personas de recepción muy amables. El estanque poco cuidado. El servicio pequeño. Pasillos muy largos. El onsen sí me gustó mucho especialmente el baño al aire libre. Hay una sala de recreo descuidada. Anuncian masajes pero luego no había.

  Long overdue for Renovation

  We booked this hotel last minute for short break for Oban week as can not able to book else where (Mistake!!). All facilities, rooms, and equipment are pretty old (You can still see VHS player and VHS tape for 100 Yen). Onsen is very old as well and sauna is for one person only (must be very old design). If you love antique this hotel offer lot of vintage stuff. Hotel staff told us to be back by 9:30pm as that is closing time, which is still early. While all facilities are still functioning, it look dirty and such need major renovation soon to restore.

  Disappointing

  All the staff are very rude!!!!!! And hotel staff told us to come back by:9:30pm cuse of there closing time which is very early not recomendable to stay and there is tons of places to stay in the area i dont want you to a perience bad memories shirahama is lots of great place to visit

  Worst hotel

  My family and i had a great day at the beach but when we get to this hotel they destroy all the good moments the staff is very rude they make us feel like trash and they welcome us with no respect and when we ask for apology they dont want to apologize and told us to forget about what happen and they dont allow us to take pictures and video and the hotel close at 9pm so we have to get hurry back after we have dinner outside but all the restaurant are far from the hotel that was the worst hotel i've ever been!!!

  Rustic

  Location is decent; 10min walk from Rendaiji station and a 45min stroll to Shimoda. Hotel itself is old but rooms were decently maintained, apart from the shower which I wouldn't recommend using. The place itself is big with many winding corridors, most of which are humid and damp. Staff was friendly, and provided us with umbrellas to use when it was raining. We returned after 10pm and they seemed to be fine with that, after which we used the onsen till about 10:30. The place is due for a renovation but for the reasonable price during high season (august), it's a satisfactory place to stay.
