    Great!

We had a great time in Hamamatsu, at Kuretake Inn Act! The room was small but full of comforts: kettle with green tea, refrigerator (that was great because we travelled with our baby and we needed fresh milk to stock), bath tube, tv... The location was great, very close to the train station and in front of the Act Tower: wonderful view! The buffet breakfast was delicious and abundant: japanese and european style, very good! The aperitif from 6 to 8 pm was a very nice idea, we appreciated very much our stay in Kuretake Inn! Thank you!

    Value for money but...

The hotel is located only a few minutes walk from the main station. Very convenient. If you have a car, you can use hotel car park with a fee of JPY700. Also, the hotel offers very competitive price including Japanese-style breakfast. In fact, I was very surprised by the available choices of Japanese breakfast. Of course, toast is available. This is a typical so-called business hotel in Japan with very small room with squeezed bath/toilet. However, when I entered into the room, I found some stains on the carpet which had been there for ages. Also, drain-smell came from the bath. Overall, the hotel offers very good price with basic cleanness.

Great business hotel near train station

This was a great hotel near the JR train station. Location was great, so close to convenience shops and regular shopping at the train station. Rooms were typical for Japantiny. Just enough space for twin beds, night stand, small space for luggage, and tiny bathroom. Everything was clean though! And the hotel seemed very well kept. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Lots of good options for both Western and Asian palate. Lots of good selections for drinks. Would definitely stay again.

    Disgusting

If the score rating could award a zero then box ticked. Simply the worst hotel ever stayed in across the world. Room was absolutely filthy in every corner. So much so we checked out and left! We even paid for an upgrade to their best rooms being a deluxe twin for more space. If this was their best then dread to think what other rooms are like. Avoid room 1101 at all costs and certainly do not recommend this hotel. Fell way short of standards of other hotels we have stayed in Japan. Hotel staff extremely difficult communicate with and any effort to try and explain state of room was lost on them. The attached pictures say it all.

    Good situation

Comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated close to the station and walking distance to so good restaurants. The breakfast was great, a good selection of food, both Japanese and non Japanese items.
