  Price justify the weakness

  I wouldn't say the hotel is prefect but given the price you need to pay is less than hkd500, what would you expect..? As this price, I would grade the service level is prefect, staff always carry nice smiles Location is prefect just next to JR. Building is old and restroom is small but is all fine due to the price. The only improvement the hotel can have is the temperature of the room, as the air con is centralised, it is in fact very hot. Tourist may need to open the window in order to get to sleep.

  Super expensive but worn out room

  It's japan's golden week when i stayed at the hotel. That's the only hotel room available when I made the reservation a month before. Rate were super expensive, 28000yen per night for a twin room. Room was small, out dated, dirty carpet, very soft bed, aircon wind blow directly to the bed, tiny bathroom. Only advantage is close to the station and outlet.

  The Worst Hotel Experience in Japan

  The bathroom smell like public toilet in China. I asked the staff if we could change to another room but they said the hotel is full booked and the bathroom just smelled the same after cleaning it. Unhelpful staff As a tourist, we don't speak Japanese and we asked to hotel staff to call the restaurant to check if any availability. The staff just replied "I don't know". I just felt so unwelcoming and I will not recommend to stay APA.

  Smells awful

  This outdated hotel has bad sewage. The rooms smell like rotten water. We asked to have our room changed because it smelled so awful and they took us to a smoking room which smelled like rotten water and cigarettes. I strongly recommend people not to stay at this hotel.

  Best location. Service was good as well.

  When I went to Kurashiki with my family, it was a rainy day. However, thanks to its location, it didnt take us much time to find it and get to the reception. Actually, it was far closer to the Kurashiki Station than we thought. And because it was really close to the station, there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, ramen shops, etc. in the surroundings, which makes it really convenient when you want to get something to eat or just want a cup of coffee. We didnt go the north gate of the Kurashiki station this time, so we didnt have the chance to visit Mitsui Outlet and other shopping malls. Still, I think the distance wont be long, either. The staffs in the reception were friendly and nice. The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little bit old. Amenities are comprehensive and are of higher quality, especially the toothbrush. It was soft and easy to use. Once you start using it, youll easily notice its quality and great design. I wouldnt call the breakfast luxurious or expensive, but it did has a variety of food and lots of choices, and personally I think they were delicious. The staffs in the restaurant were friendly as well. Nothing can really compete with being welcomed by smiles in the early morning. Of course, there were still some shortcomings, one of which being the air-conditioner. It did work, but it was impossible to change the temperature. Since you can only choose from weak, normal, and strong, sometimes it got really cold. Also, the design of toilet seat was somewhat different than the average seats you would find in Japan, and it probably will take some time for a guest to get used to it, especially knowing how to let the warm water come out. Overall, I really like this hotel. I will definitely book this hotel again next time when I go to Kurashiki.
