Good hotrlI gotten to stay in the corner room. The room has gas stove, sink, bathroom, TV, Heater ( one of the room only) and balcony. You don't need air conditioning here, if you travel in February (winter time) because the night wind is so strong and cold, you will basically freeze if you open the sliding doors too wide! Breakfast here is serve with American style, nothing much to brag about. Overall, a comfortable stay. PS: they didn't have beds here, so you got to sleep on the floor, Korean style which is a good experience!

Korean tatami experienceWe stayed here as arranged by our tour agency. Only stayed a night. We got a room + living area + kitchen. Very spacious just for the two of us. Floor heating were so good it can get too hot at times. We slept close to the sliding door/window to get some cool breeze in during the night. We laid out two sets of bedding for each of us as we're not used to sleeping so flat on the floor. Not for those who can't sleep on the floor. Relatively big convenience store located just downstairs. Breakfast was so-so. Be warned, there's no bath towel, so just shake yourself dry before wiping down with the provided towel which is the size of hand towels. We were pre-warned by our tour guide so it wasn't too bad. Guess the place is ok if you've lowered your expectations beforehand. Love the space most!

Simple Apartment Type- Home away from homeI believe the hotel is fairly old hotel. Simple , no facilities & no room service. It is very spacious with a decent kitchenette, living room, rooms with beds and extra space for the heated floors. It is still cold when I visited Korea so we don't need AC as it is near Mt Seorak its pretty windy and cold. They don't offer towel and toiletries but there is a convinient store near the front desk ( ground floor ) My room has s no view just a vast space being constructed. Breakfast was not too bad.

Basic but adequate apartment to stay inStayed here for 5 nights in one of those apartments with a room with 1 double and 1 single bed, plus 1 empty room for laying korean style bedding on the floor, of which 2 are provided and additional cost 5000won each per night. The property is old but functioning, showing much wear and tear that needs a major renovation soon. There's an almost full kitchen with fridge. One dining table and 4 chairs, one 2 seater sofa. One dressing table and chair. However no proper wardrobe to hang clothes etc. Floor heating is good for cold weather but with only 1 big air con in the living room, those sleeping in the bedroom will be quite hot in summer. Bathroom is very basic with no toiletries provided so bring your own or buy at the convenience store, which is more like a mini mart. No shower curtain so things get wet. Towels, contrary to earlier reviewers are provided but koreans largely use small towels and this is the version provided. Wifi is good with router in every room. Tv channels are mostly korean and when we tried to purchase a movie, the front staff said the system was not working. Other facilities are an arcade, billiard and table tennis room, karaoke room, gym and korean sauna. All require payment. For eg. Gym and sauna usage cost 5000 won with a 10pct discount for guest. The best part of the resort for us was the outdoor bbq which was good value at 89000won for 4 persons or 49000 for 2, including various meats and condiments It was very nice to bbq yourself at the current cool temperature. Or you could bring your own food and rent one of the grills. No major complaints as for the price you're paying here, it's the right quality after all.

Reasonable resort hotel with good rate. . . I used renovated deluxe room and it was clean and nice. I could see Ulsan rocks of Sorak mt. from the room. Facilities were little bit old but if you book a renovated room, you can use a room with newer condition. Otherwise, you can use a room with less rate. So, I think it's a good deal.
