  Wonderful stay

  Wonderful weekend getaway to the Blue Mountains and what a pleasure staying in a quaint, historic B&B run with such enthusiasm by its owners. Chris our host couldnt do enough to make our stay more comfortable and cater to our needs. Our room was lovely and exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a lovely view onto the front garden. Try the scones they are delicious and lovely breakfast included. We will be back! Suggest you book direct through their website as will get a better rate than through other online booking agents.

  A Century Not Out

  Don and Jessie Bradman had their honeymoon at Kubba Roonga (Blackheath) in 1932 and I would be surprised if much has changed in this heritage listed guest house since then. The guest house was built in 1915, and has just passed its first century. We understand that The Don also made a century at Blackheath off just 22 balls a few months before his stay! Co-owner Chris advised us that this was NOT a hotel and that guests were treated as 'guests' rather than clients. This was exactly how we felt with a tour of the house at the beginning of our stay and breakfasts tailored to our preferences and home prepared. The bed room was very comfortable, in an old-fashioned (heritage) way and the drawing rooms inviting - we spent time there each day reading the papers and having our coffee. We understand that Kubba Roonga means "peaceful place" and it proved to be. That there were few other guests was a bonus and we enjoyed the quiet. I can just imagine spending winter days there, sitting around the open fire in big winged chairs while the snow falls outside. I'm sure that is what we will do next winter!!

  I stayed for two nights as i was doing a quilting summer school. Was sooo lovely n quiet n relaxing. Room is gorrgeous,house is GORRGEOUS. Yes there are alot of rules but the rules make sure the house is looked after really well. Breakfast was fantastic..actually alot of food..so if you are walking or hiking you wont need much lunch. I will definitely stay again but will book directly on their website n save a little. Chris is a fantastic host. He has soooo much info to share on the area. Thank you for a fab stay.

  Home Away from Home

  We stayed at the beautiful Kubba Roonga Guesthouse in the luxury spa suite. The guesthouse has a unique charm which, coupled with the warmth of the hosts, made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay. A fire-side welcome with complimentary port for guests immediately made us feel like we were right at home. The room was beautiful, and so comfortable - every detail was so well thought out. The in-room spa was a lovely addition after we had a long day out exploring the local area. Each morning we were treated to a delicious home-cooked and continental breakfast with multiple choices of what to eat. The accomodation is close to the shops and amenities in Blackheath (within walking distance), and a short drive from larger tourist attractions in the Blue Mountains. However, this did not detract from the peacefulness and serenity of the guesthouse. We only wish it had been snowing when we were there! In the current climate, the owners have made Kubba Roonga Guesthouse incredibly COVID safe - taking into account the safety of their guests as a priority. They have managed to do this without detracting from the comfort of their beautiful home. Thank you for such a lovely stay! We hope to come back soon.

  Just wonderful

  Thank you to our gracious hosts for our fantastic stay. Weve been here a few times now and its always lovely to come back. The added safety measures (due to the current climate were in) added peace of mind.
