  Back in Paradise!

  Our second stay was as wonderful as the first time. Lourraine and Bill are so nice host. They make a delicious breakfast and know all about the area. The beach right next to the house is beautiful and Otama Beach about 5 km away is amazing. The rooms in the lodge are very comfortable and everything is very clean. You feel welcome and home.

  Fabulous Accommodation in a wonderful location

  Lorraine greeted us on our arrival and brought us a very welcome pot of tea with homemade cake. This beautiful accommodation is situated in a delightful, peaceful location overlooking a stunning beach. Lorraine and Bill are the most perfect hosts doing everything they can to make your stay special. From the most delicious breakfast to providing information about places to visit around the area, nothing was too much trouble, Lorraine even did our washing whilst we were out and about. Bill delighted in suggesting sightseeing opportunities. A wonderful B and B, would definitely recommend.

  Great views, great place, great welcome

  We were in the studio, a self-contained apartment at the top of the plot with great view across the bay from a covered balcony. Lorraine rushed out to greet us as soon as we arrived and gave us the guided tour, including the fridge which contained home-made cake and a bottle of wine. Due to an error from our agent we had not booked breakfast and had bought our own supplies, which was a shame as Lorraine and Bill would have been happy to feed us, and just in case our supplies were inadequate four fvery tasty reshly baked muffins appeared the following morning. Just as we were leaving we mentioned a couple of things we wanted to buy and she gave us the name of a store chain that was likely to stock them and we found store and items half an hour down the road. Great result all round

  Absolutely idyllic!!

  Fabulous location, fabulous view from the decking leading out from the bedroom, great hosts & a lovely breakfast. Could go on but I think you should have gotten the picture. If you are looking for a peaceful & beautiful place to stay in the Whitianga area then Kuaotunu Bay Lodge will not disappoint.

  You really feel at home here!

  Perched on a hillside several hundred feet above the sea, from your room you can look down on the curve of a pristine beach with white sand. Day and night, the sound of the surf is your constant companion. That would be enough but then you are greeted by Lorraine and Bill, two of the loveliest people youll ever meet. They make you feel like you are part of the family - a loving family. We stayed in the stand-alone cottage above the house, a spacious, private place with everything you might possibly need. Lorraines welcoming fruit cake was much appreciated. Her breakfast is delicious, served in the main house while you look out at a stunning view. Both Lorraine and Bill are incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the area, and delighted to share their 30+ years of experience. Six minutes down the road is Lukes café, the place that everyone goes to for coffee and pastries, lunch, and wood fired pizza (among other offerings) in the evening. Dont miss it.
