  Good hotel for overnight stay

  we stayed with family in hot summer , no water problem , A/C was working completely, staffs are very nice and co-operative. rooms curtains found dirty ( one star less ) , having amble car parking space, little away from crowded ( around 1 km ) area, so no noise. overall, it is recommended for overnight stay and worth for the price they have restaurant with very limited menu.

  Average hotel

  Its a doable hotel...however there are some good points of the hotel...the compound itself is quite huge and has a huge garden area with a good number of trees...because of these trees you would feel a bit cool inside your rooms as well...the hotel is centrally located... There is a free parking facility...there is a concierge service also at the front desk...but then that's it! No free breakfast, no room service, no free/paid wifi, also no lift... The hotel has a rustic feel that of a Kerala home...the architecture is that of Kerala style... However the rooms are pretty much airy...and the bathrooms are quite big... I would rather suggest you to get food from outside than to have food in the restaurant...

  WHOEVER SAID GOVERNMENT PLACES ARE BAD SHOULD STAY HERE !!

  we have this wrong notion that government based places are bad. a stay at tamarind thirssur is going to prove you wrong. excellent food, though the choice is limited. staff extremely courteous. and the superior room that they have recently added is indeed a class apart. congrats to all of you there !! keep up the good work !!!

  Steep Fall!

  This used to be a nice hotel when it was 'Yatri Nivas' in the old days. Now it is a badly kept, poorly managed bureaucratic horror. Check in and Check out time is an unusual 3.30 pm. It iused to be 24 hr check-in check-out in KTDC hotels and that used to be the convenience that made you choose these places. Dinnner will not be served after 9.15 pm. You will not get breakfast before 8.30 or 8.45. That too the worst Dosas I have had anywhere in South India. The rooms and accessories are shabby. In short the Government should seriouly consider leasing out these places rather than run it with this kind of management.

  The rooms are spacious. The garden outside the hotel looks good. Located in a large area. Food choice is very limited. Staff was very pleasing and courteous.They don't have free breakfast.no free Wi-Fi.The architecture is marvelous
