  Can't fault the placewould give 6 stars if i could!-super welcome by Toshi .All facilities in pristine condition,toilets,showers,rooms and shared kitchen even when hostel was full. Pick up/drop off service and the invaluable lift to the supermarket to get any shopping you may need.All staff always on hand for help/advice-10 minute walk to slopes-drying room ,laundry faciliies-we only left 5 hours ago and missing it already.

  Great for a couple on a budget

  The rooms a little dated but we loved the fact that we had a bathroom and also the shared dining area was really nice. The staff were very helpful, remembered our names and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good trip. Highly recommend this cute little hostel near all the great ski fields. Pictured the gorgeous crafty gift shop next door and the dining room area and view from our room after fresh snow. When we left the staff waved us off into the taxi like kids on the first day off school, it was super sweet :)

  Great people

  I stumbled onto this place what a great break. Toshi and Meg are so nice. Helped us with everything we needed. Cheap beer in the vending machine. The rooms and entire place were clean. Ask for discount lift tickets. Great deal. It an uphill walk from the train station and an uphill walk to the ski hill. The upside it's down hill to get back to each. Should have used the kitchen more. I highly recommend this place.

  Cozy, welcoming, and fun!

  Amazing stay at Ks house, I stayed in a room of 5 people. The room was clean and cozy. The hostel owners are amazing people, definitely talk to them. You feel welcomed and comfortable for entire stay. A short walk from the goryu ski resort and bus stop for all other resorts. Great restaurants nearby as well and close to bus stop when coming from nagano.

  Would give 6/5 if I could

  The couple that worked there were so kind, helpful and went above and beyond for my friends and I. I injured my knee on my first day of skiing and they really helped me out. They also took everyone to the grocery store and provided excellent advice RE snow sports and itineraries. I am so so grateful. With regards to the accommodation it was so clean, comfortable and the living area was beautiful - this made it much easier while being injured. It was a very short walking distance from the chairlift for hakuba goryu which made everything so easy!
