  Where do I start First many thanks to all the staff at this private villa complex To Ching our concierge who if we needed anything from a pizza to organising a trip was just a phone call away To chai our driver who was never more than 15 mins away to run us into ao nang town 10 mins from villa or shopping trips all this included in price of villa To our cleaners who came in every day And our private chefs who we had in twice at extra cost to cook traditional Thai meals everything totally made from scratch We stayed in villa 1 which was a great choice as slightly more private from the other several villas fronting the beach The pool was cleaned every day and because obviously being on an open beach which I must say most days had to ourselves security was excellent This place is excellent for those wanting privacy but at same time busy town 10 minutes away In ao nang surprised to see everything from stalls serving up Thai food to some very good fine dining restaurants including for those who want a change of diet umbertos Italian and Jenna's also a mention to divers resteraunt who one of our teenagers said was best fried ice cream she had ever tasted Once again thank you to everyone at amatapura villas krabi and hope to come back Thomas and Westwood families

  Worth every penny and more

  Fabulous villa and location, extremely well maintained, very good location and super service. Firstly let me thank Sara for the wonderful welcome and for helping throughout the stay there, she was always there to answer your call and help you out. We got free tuk tuk service and Chai was always on time and never complained on the multiple trips. We got the massage done in-house and that too was very good. If you are a large family with small kids hotel rooms can be bit of a problem and this villa is a perfect option, everything is nearby through tuk tuk and it has a working kitchen as well for those small meals. Its right next to the beach and during low tide you get to explore the beach, cannot swim there because it's rocky. but views are fantabulous. I would recommend this to anyone, it delivers on all that's promised

  Excellent place to stay with family and friends

  We stayed in Amatapura beach villa 14. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It has excellent living area, open kitchen and dinning area with Swimming pool. Although swimming pool is small as compare to other villas. Staff was very help and supportive. Even local conveyance is available at reasonable cost. Staff has helped us in arranging food and massage for us.

  Fantastic Villa & Location

  We rented Villa 1 for 10 days for three couples. We could not fault the location and general facilities of the villa, right on the beach but a pleasant 10 min tuk tuk ride into Ao Nang. Our only criticism is that the property is now a bit tired and in need of a bit of a re-furb. Lots of loose door handles, scruffy furnishings and paintwork, lights that did not work etc. just took the edge off what should have been a real luxury accommodation. Renters should also be aware that only 3 of the five bedrooms are en-suite including the 2nd best bedroom upstairs, where although it has a great sea view, the bathroom is downstairs so not great. Without these little niggles, it would have been an undoubted five star rating.

  Amatapura Villa 1

  Love this villa, best among all the Amatapura Villas. Good location, spacious, big swimming pool with jacuzzi, modern but pretty run down in terms of maintenance. 4 rooms on the 1st floor and 1 room on the ground floor, 1 of the rooms do not have ensuite bathroom. The jacuzzi area has sharp angles, easily get scratches. The service is inconsistent, difficult to get the housekeeping to come clean the house, requires at least 2 to 3 calls to the butler.
