  I love this hotel, the view from the room facing the river n we can hear clearly the sound of waterfall ..the bedroom quite nice with kettle n tea provided in the room. Recommended to all n much more the staffs are friendly too although the language barrier is still there but they do respond nicely to ur requests.

  Good and nice but there are many bugs flying and crawling

  the place is nice they have a nice waterfall view, rooms are good, toilet is very small, there is a bad smell coming from it, and there is no curtain in the bathtup so some water will go out while you are taking a shower, no porter boy, elevators have no laser sensors so it will close on you, you have to press it to open, but then I pressed it again it didn't open, so be careful if you have kids, this is dangerous, little variety of food. sometimes I feel it is hot at the room but they don't operate the A/C it will be only on fan mode, they really need to make some maintenance for the doors, windows and lights, there are many big bugs flying and crawling, we couldn't open the windows, I really hate bugs, you need to do something like putting blue lights, or spraying from time to time, service is ok but need to be improved, people are very friendly, and most of them speak English, I'm sure you can do it and be better.

  Charming hotel in beautifull setting

  I really enjoyed this hotel. While the decor is dated it has a romantic charm and the bed was extremely comfortable. The waterfall made the surrounding very peaceful and I enjoyed discovering Bosnian breakfast the next morning. I would return.

  Fun experience

  Normally I would rate a hotel like this rather low, because it is really quiet dated. But Kostelski Buk has something charming, unusual and fun about it. The main feature, of course, is the sets of falls and rapids right behind it - most rooms will have a good view over it. Our room 201 had a nice balcony overlooking the falls and the small zoo. The room was spacious, with a sitting area and separate sofa which we used to open up our luggage. The bed was divinely comfortable, which gave us a really good night's sleep (aided by the soothing sound of the falls). The bathroom was small and very dated, but adequate. We had dinner in the restaurant, where the staff are most friendly and helpful. We started with a gourmet platter of mixed cheese, smoked meat, kajmac with critters, together wiith Campari tonics, beers and slivovic. Then had trout and veal as mains, all for 95 Km, which was great value for money. Breakfast could be better (both juice and coffee were horrible), but they had a good spread of home-made jams. And a great view . . . And maybe they could upgrade their choice of music (all songs dated back some 50+ years). Kostelski Buk was good fun for 1 night !

  Old Fashioned Charm

  This is not a modern place. It has an air of faded glory. Yet it is charming. For one thing, it could not be better situated. There are beautiful views of the river and the falls. Here it is worth paying extra for a room with a balcony. Across a little bridge is a small farm which kids would certainly appreciate. Down river the are loungers by the river beach.
