  A real surprise

  When I arrived I couldn't honestly recall what the place looked like. From the road it looked like a village hall with lots of gravel parking and some bungalows nearby. It turned out to be a purpose built holiday complex with an additional 2 storey block of rooms out back. The staff were very accommodating with good English - Danes learn it at school from about 6 years of age apparently. The food was excellent - recommend the Winegrovers Stew. The rooms are large and there is tea and coffee making facilities. The chairs were a bit creaky but I liked the little terrace area with table and chairs outside. The view was only a field of sprouts but nevermind! Good value at about £70GBP per night bed and breakfast (750DKK) - it is quite rural so if you want night life then this isn't for you.

  Perfect and cheap

  Nice service and very hospitable people, good sized clean rooms and plenty of breakfast. We spent the night after going to a concert in Herning and it was in a good distance. We recommend it!! (And then this app demands 200 characters so I write a little bit more because I don't have anything else to say about Korning Kro other than it was nice!)

  Very welcoming

  We stopped at Korning Kro as we drove from Amsterdam to the ferry at Hirtshals. It was a great stop over. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and the chef was both accommodating for our requirements and is updating and providing an excellent menu. The rooms were spacious and good specification and, of course, very clean.This is in a very agricultural region (as indicated by the name) but there seemed to be nice walking and we were able to walk our dogs (they are very accommodating for pouches). All in all a great stop over and highly recommended - and try the home produced honey at breakfast (particularly along with the cheese!)

  Nice place to relax

  If you want to get away from the city for a couple of days, this is a nice place to stay. It's beautiful nature calls for long walks and relaxation. The room we stayed in was clean and the beds where comfortable.

  Good stay for one night

  Stayed for one night . The room is spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom is good, good water pressure and a temperature control. All styled similar to an American motel just bigger . Even a coffee maker was available. Room is quiet and has strong wifi complemented. Breakfast was good and tasty . Minus: The bed was soft and worn out. ( room 6 ) Recommended stay but just for a night
