  Clean rooms, good location

  I stayed at Kopala for 1 night and we were part of an organised trip. I read the reviews online and already knew bout the noisy rooms and the nightclub. I arrived and the receptionist placed me in a room on the second floor and then moved me to a room on the fourth floor after a mess-up with the rooms (who is staying where basically and with whom). The shower of the first bedroom had some dirt on the walls (check pictures) but the bathroom of the room on the fourth was much better. The location of the hotel is super and very close to Old Tbilisi and right on Europe square where you can access everything by walking. Sleep quality was alright. We had to wake up early to continue our journey and they gave us our breakfast packed for the trip. very bad quality food I was chocked! old bread and old croissant. The sandwish was made with old toast that I couldn't even eat. Also our prices were included in an overall package but when I asked about the room rate in case I wanted to book for my last night in Tbilisi, I was chocked! Overpriced for what it is.

  Poorest service ever

  Great location and views but zero service. Spent 2,5 hrs in a restaurant, got poor advice on very expensive local wine ~$30 which was bad in taste. The personnel never agreed to change the wine claiming the choice of wine was not their problem. Finally the bill had not only the wine price but also 15% charge for service. Dont go there...

  Location is the best

  staff and breakfast were amazing. Don't order wine in restaurant. Prices very high. Noisy in the night time (night club under the hotel). Beautiful view on the river and the old town. Don't use taxi drivers near the hotel. They were always trying to cheat me.

  Overpriced lunch which was not great either

  We ate lunch as a family here on our recent trip to Tbilisi. We sat outside as location was very good (close to the cable car). On ordering drinks we received a weird aniseed type lemonade rather than regular lemonade which the kids detested. When we asked for Lemonade to replace it the waitress seemed shocked and annoyed advising us that in order to get normal lemonade you have to order Lemon Lemonade (just plan weird). The wine came out for my wife in what could only be described as a thimble sized glass, we asked for a double (not realising that each thimble was hugely overpriced so two normal glasses of the house wine cost more that the entire meal). The food was okay, we had the overpriced prawns and chips.Would definitely not recommend going here!!

  Well Located Convenient Hotel

  Our jeep tour group stayed here for two nights. The hotel is a 3 star property - the rooms are large, quiet, clean, with comfortable beds. The best thing about the hotel is its location which is on the edge of Rikhe Park, and across the boulevard, a few minutes walk away from the Old Town. The cable car to the top of Narqila Fortress is also a very short walk away. The Peace bridge is also a relatively short walk from the hotel. The breakfasts were okay, nothing really special - eggs, the ubiquitous sausage/hot dogs, little fruit, dry cereals and breads. The breakfast buffet is located on the top floor, the fourth, which has a panoramic view over Rikhe Park. There is a spa at the hotel which we did not use, but no exercise room. There is a small bar at the far end of the lobby.
