  Lovely stay

  Stayed at Koo Karoo in early May. We had a wonderful stay. Lovely clean accommodation with a bed that was so comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and dining area. Shirley could not have be more welcoming and recommended local restaurants and places of interest. Would certainly recommend staying here.

  Couldnt fault it

  We stayed in the 2 bedroom self-catering cottage and found it excellent value for money. One bedroom had a massive (and very comfortable) king size bed and the second room had two singles. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom which has a bath and a separate shower. It was spotlessly clean. The cottage was well equipped and we were warm and cosy with electric blankets and heaters. Kitchen had everything we needed. We found the location very central, but very quiet and peaceful. All in all, a lovely stay in Montagu and Shirley was a very welcoming host. We will be back!

  Good overnight stay

  We sort of stayed in Montagu to break the journey and Koo Karoo was a great choice for that. We booked a self catering apartment which had a twin and a double bedroom with the bathroom in the middle of them (I mean you can access to it from each bedroom). The bed was comfortable and there was enough space to put up our stuff. The kitchen is small and theres no table, no real place for eating except the garden furnitures in the patio. The apartment is overlooking a small garden as for the pool, we didnt use it. A bit cold still. Even if a bit old fashion, the place was comfortable and we had a lovely stay. The location is quite central even if you dont really venture outside after sunset in South Africa. Shirley, our host, was very welcoming, helpful and did provide us with plenty of informations.

  Very happy, would return

  Just reviewing the places we stayed on our last South African holiday. The review previous to this I titled "OK but not nice enough to return" - this accommodation in contrast I would be very happy to stay in again. The hostess was friendly and helpful, you got the impression she was genuinely happy to help if needed. Accommodation was clean and central to town. I am a fan of Montagu and would be happy to stay here again. Thanks from all of us.

  Favourite Place to stay

  We have stayed at the Koo Karoo regularily for the last nine yearsand realy enjoy it. Shirley is always makes us welcome and is very helpful with suggestions of where to go and making bookings for us. Our room is very comfortable and it is great having air con and wifi. Would highly recommend the Koo Karoo Guest Lodge.
