Great locationThe hotel charges an additional $75, and there is Hawaii occupancy tax on top of that so it was an additional $101.85 The place was easy to find and is in a great location. It was only about 8 miles from the airport. There are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as a Farmers Market, and the beach. They have a place to rinse off snorkel gear here in the parking lot. This is supposed to be the best place to snorkel of any of the islands. I did see a few places that rented by the day or week. When I checked in, she told me about the Farmers Market down the street which is from wholesalers. I drove about 5 miles South where they have actual produce and meat from the farmers. Parking places are tight and the Condo is on a hill side, so I was worried about a door opening too far into my car, so I always tried to park uphill with nobody higher up the hill. The night key pick up worked great. The unit is spacious, but old. Things were very clean, but the refrigerator is starting to rust a bit. It worked fine though and had an ice maker. I had a first floor unit that had a large lanai. There was an entry off the bedroom, and off the living room. There was a sliding wall between the living room and the bedroom in case you had someone using the pull out couch. That is a nice touch. Good selection of dishes. I did find a few bowls with covers to store leftovers. They have coffee filters, salt and pepper. They had a blender, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, etc. They have a laundry basket, and some beach boards in the closet, along with a cooler and some lawn chairs. Free internet is a great benefit. Small TV, but a full range of Cable channels, and a DVD player. The hot water was not real hot and it cooled before my shower was finished. The AC only went down to 70, but that did keep it cool enough. The 2 ceiling fans helped with that. BBQ grills at a couple places on the property and they worked well. They have their own pool, but no hot tub. Some noise from the apartment above me, but not too bad.

Kona Billfisher Unit 03Has a spectacular ocean view! The pictures shown dont do it justice. The one bedroom unit is immaculate with all the amenities listed. This is my 2nd stay here so I was very happy to return and come again. The pool and outdoor cooking facility is my favorite spots. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Catholic Church and beaches, a great convenience. Parking is good with several handicapped spaces. Best of all is the wonderfully organized staff that made my check in seamless during this pandemic Thank you, Miriam P Conley .

Excellent! This is a great location! The rooms were very clean. And the staff takes COVID very seriously making sure there is minimal contact, they have implemented an easy self check in and if we wanted clean towels we had to set out the dirty ones and they were replaced with clean one so no one every entered our room.

Not a true 1 bedroomNice property and walking distance to Kona. Also right near a bus stop that takes you to Walmart or a nice snorkel beach (but I think not running now due to Covid). One bedrooms are more like a studio with a sliding partition. Not ideal for a sleeping baby.

Maui VacationThe property was and condo was nice and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and grill area. We used the kitchen area and was pleased with the different utensils, appliances and work space for the kitchen.
