Great holidayWe stayed here for 10 nights at the beginning of July 2019. We had a large party of 12 ageing from 12 years to 78. The hotel is a 30 min drive from Bourgas. The hotel itself is lovely and clean ... maids always around sweeping and cleaning, bins emptied 2/3 times around the pool each day. There is a large pool which looks very new and the toddler pool on the upper level with a couple of slides. The lifeguard is on duty from 9-6pm. The bar staff are great, very friendly especially Martin ( I think his name was) the drinks are good and the beer is ok too. Snacks are served most of the day from the pool bar although there is a mad rush for donuts and pizza about 4pm!! The accommodation was good. Bed and towels changed every other day. Rooms were big and plenty room for our clothes and footwear. Shower in the bathroom was powerful although a little difficult sometimes to control the temperature. The food if Im honest wasnt great. The hotel catered for the Russian/Turkish/Romanian guests. I am not a fussy eater and always found and tried different foods. The salads were delicious!! However if u take young children and they r fussy u may struggle. Chips were available everyday but not good. But pasta and different sauces were always available. Finally the animation squad were fab!! Loved the club dance, Adult games, water aerobics and kids clubs always something to do!! Support the team and get involved!! Its more fun than u think The walk to the bars and shops is about 10 mins and to the strip about half an hour. Hotel is ideally placed and would go back again !!

Small Busy HotelThis was our first stay in Bulgaria and have had a really nice week away. The hotel in our opion wasn't a four star. The Aquamarine is not a large hotel and that was part of the appeal for us. It is located on the main road, but you wouldn't know it. The hotel is set back from the road and really don't hear the traffic poolside because there is always some background music on. The pool is a good size and looks realatively new, but the grey tile is a little off putting initially. It is also not a really deep pool which was good and the life guard is always on hand to stop any silliness. We arrived on a Sunday and the pool and area was ridiculously busy which was a little offputting, but we realised the following day you get an awful lot of people driving over and just staying for the weekend. The poolside bar was very handy and the drinks nice and cold. The feeding frenzie however whenever food was available was ridiculous, you would have thought people hadn't been fed in weeks instead of the previous meal time a couple of hours earlier. The room was a good size and clean. There was plenty of storage for clothing etc. We were at the back of the hotel and the view was not particularly exciting (but on walking around the area over the week it seems to be the same of most hotels, having seemingly been built in all sorts of odd and random places) but it was nice and quiet. The bathroom was a good size and the shower head was good and for the most part the hot water was hot. The meals were ok. Something at most meals available, but I'm not a picky eater. My husband did find it a bit repetative and we did eat out on a couple of occassions. The thing that bothered us the most was the lack of supervision from parents and their kids just pushing in and having no manners no fault of the hotel just parents being on holiday! apparently from supervising their offspring!!! The bar service in an evening was good and the drinks were not restricted as often in other A.I. hotels we have been to. The service did stop at 11 p.m. though and the staff were out the door 3 minutes later! The entertainment team were very friendly and activities happening throughout the day if you wanted to join in. However, the only entertainment on an evening was for children and nothing at all for adults. The beach is not too far away and is one of the nicest beaches we have been too. It is beautifully clean and the sea was warm and shallow enough to wade out quite a way. However it was packed and trying walk along the shore is practically impossible. On route to the beach are a number of bars, restaurants, shops etc. and it is very reasonably priced. We didn't venture into the main areas but there was a good choice of things within a 10 min walk. Overall we have enjoyed our stay, but there are few things that need to be tweaked. We would certainly go back to Sunny Beach again, but not necassarily this hotel, only because we prefer to be beach side, and this had been a last minute booking with no time to research the area. But still a nice little hotel.

GreatHad a great time brilliant family hotel.. entertainment staff cant do enough for everyone bar tenders receptionists catering staff aswell as pool staff and upkeep staff... cleaner was a bit abrupt (seemed lazy) even tho we were cleaning everyday bit hard with a 2 year old!! Food can be a lot better seem to cater more for other cultures rather than British would definitely come back with the hope of better selection of food

Average 3* hotelJust came back from Hotel Aquamarine, where we spent 7 nights AI (2 adults&1 infant). The good things about this hotel are: - the room and bath were spacious and the cleaning was done everyday; - the balcony with chairs and table is also a plus; - the free parking, if u find a free place (we did find); -the animation for kids, even if basic, it really entertains the little ones; - most of the employees are smilling and willing to help; -the distance to the beach (the ship beachbar, near BurgasBeach hotel) is 10 minutes easy walking. The bad things (what we didn't like) are: - the 3* restaurant (is clearly marked at the entrance and on the windows) serves most of the dishes fried and oily. U can find something to eat, but the food is repetitive and poor (tasteless cakes, cheese, sausages, etc.) I think this is the first thing they have to improve (change the cook, the menus, etc.); - the drinks are typical AI style (a cheap draft beer, bad red wine, good white wine, local vodka and juices which tasted ok); - the pool bar is a joke, being placed near the snack zone; u don't know is there if u don't eat popcorn or a slice of pizza with cheap ingredients; - there is only one elevator which is always crowded; - the rooms at the first floor are practically at the terrace. Anyone who drinks there can see inside the rooms (the curtains must be always closed) or on the balcony; - the aircon in our room (405) was noisy and not powerfull. It lasted about one hour to cool the room properly and the swing button was broken (we wanted to sleep with it on, but the air was blowing into our heads). In conclusion, if u want a quick brake and u are on the budget I can't say this hotel is poor or terrible, but if u plan your only one summer vacation, I advise u to look somewhere else. We enjoyed Sunny Beach and Nesebar, and we'll come back for sure, but not at this hotel.

Great timeHotel is very close to the the centre of sunny beach about 20 min slow walk and about 10 min slow walk to the beach. The food is tasty and good variety. The drinks are generous and reasonable quality of alcohol is offered on all inclusive option. The swimming pool is very clean and has plenty of space .The great pool for children is separated . The rooms and all areas are very clean and the room service is done every day.
