  Wonderful Spa Day

  My friend and i were booked into spa treatments and, although our train from Nuremberg was delayed and we missed the appointment time, Petr and staff were as accommodating and understanding as possible. Lovely people and wonderful service. Great day!!

  It's Okay for one night, if you can bear the check in procedure!

  We arrived here after a very long drive from Cologne. The check in was appalling - two young women (one of whom was unbelievably rude), didn't seem to know how to deal with us, and talked to each other, messed around with a computer, took our passports, gave them back, took them again, presented us with forms, and then just stared at them, and ignored us all the time. It really was dreadful. Having said that, the room was clean. The hotel is miles from anywhere, and so we had to have dinner there. The menu sounded good, but the food was mediocre. Breakfast was the same. The hotel was full of elderly Germans who were having spar treatments in the much cheaper Czech Republic, and it was to these people that the hotel directed it's attentions.

  Very nice quiet and relaxing place.

  We spent two nights last summer in this very nice place on the way from Germany to Prague. The hotel is located in a bit remote out of town area in the outskirt of Cheb, The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay. By car it's a few minutes drive from the center of Cheb. We stayed as a family of 4 (2 little kids age 3 and 5). The staff was friendly and accommodating, and our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The food (dinner) was good but finished early. While the breakfast buffet was quite limited. Overall impression was positive. I would recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a relaxing stay away from city noise.

  Low-key spa hotel in the country

  This is a hotel I'd recommend, though with some caveats. Although the hotel itself is very bland in decor, the room was comfortable and clean. And, as other reviewers have mentioned, it's full of Germans in search of a cheaper Czech spa visit. However, after a long drive it was great to swim and enjoy the jacuzzi - a very relaxed atmosphere. I was grateful for the parking, the quiet of the countryside and the extremely warm welcome. I wasn't inspired by the dinner menu so ventured into nearby Frantikovy Lázn. This was probably a good decision as the breakfast was not really up to scratch.

  This hotel offers all you need

  We really enjoyed to stay at this hotel. The staff was nice and helpful, the breakfasts were rich enough and the room clean and spacious. Once we visited the hotel restaurant and the meal was delicious. It is nice located in the nature, so you can do hikings or cycling. There is also a tennis court. Frantiskovy lazne are easily accessible in few minutes by car. We went to the wellness center and it was great as there were not that much people and we had a great time in the swimming pool and the saunas. You definitely have to come.
