Nothing special but exactly what we expected

Hotel equipment is little bit older but still good. All inclusive service is not bad but i recommend try some tavern. Kolymbia town is typical summer resort with nothing special to see. If you want see something from Greece, let´s rent a car. Beach is approximately 500 meters from hotel with incredible clear water but full of people even in the end of september.

NICE HOLIDAY FOR A GOOD DEAL

With my boyfriend we booked this holiday literary day before the flight and we were very happy with the choice. The hotel is after reconstruction so all is nice and clean. Rooms are large, with air-conditioning, nice bathrooms and with a balcony or swimming pool. I have to highlight that the room was always perfectly clean as the cleaning staff was doing a great job. As all inclusive you have plenty of choices from variety of food - sweet, salads, meats, side dishes etc... There were few highlights I would like to mention and it was the staff in the hotel. The hotel has a great receptionists whose are always helpful and welcoming especially lady called Rena( I hope that i remember the name correctly) she recommended us some trips around and we were very grateful for her service! Also all the barman, waitresses from outside and inside bar and restaurant were great companion and they were presenting professional and friendly manner even that some customers were approaching them in a rude way! Those people matter a lot and makes your holiday perfect. THANKS FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY

If you manage your expectations, it can be a nice holiday

We bought this hotel as a last minute deal for 11 nights with all inclusive program. This was our family holiday - 2 adults and 1 child at the age of 3+. Hotel is a family run business with maximum 3 stars with all pros and cons of this type of hotel. Proximity to the beach is ok though the hotel is not located directly on the beach. Hotel has two swimming pools - one for kids and one regular. Sunbeds are free and it is wise to book them earlier in the morning. Hotel has a small shop right next to the reception and based on our quick price comparison, prices are quiet fair. Rooms were recently renovated and they are smaller but clean. Each room has a balcony, small fridge and TV (our TV had only 2 Italian channels, Euro News and Euro sport 1. Nice value add is free WIFI which saves the day for kids who love watching cartoons on youtube. Bathroom was very small, with WC, bathtub and hair drier. Beds are old but our matts were firm and hard what we liked. (some of the guests were complaining about too soft matts though). We found cleaning service rather weak. I seems like they are understaffed and especially in the days when guests arrive and leave they are overloaded and our room was cleaned only formally. We asked the reception to get our room cleaned in the morning as our kid is used to get a quick nap in the afternoon. Our wish was respected for one day and then the cleaning lady kept coming exactly during the time we were napping. If that happened I only asked her to do quick bathroom cleaning and go in order not to wake up the kid. As she kept coming in the afternoon it seemed to us as purposeful not to spent much time on our room. At the time of our arrival, hotel was probably not full what was reflected also in the dining room. Soon we learnt that it is convenient to come rather earlier than later for the meal as it may happen that there won't be enough or there wont be the food of your primary choice. This got better as the week went on but it could happen they run out of some fruit of meat when you came closer to the closing time. Dining room staff seems also little bit understaffed as in the peak times they both clean tables and fill the hot and cold buffet what may cause delays to one or the other. On the other hand, we found food tasty and quality was improving as our stay progressed. From food perspective, this hotel more fits into the category of full pension than all inclusive. Food is buffet served during breakfast, lunch and dinner but beside these times, there is very little/no food available. Outside bar has a place where you can get small cookies, sandwiches and ice cream but this is far away from having all inclusive food during the whole day - here it is very important to manage one's expectations in order not to get dissapointed. Oh, and it is forbidden to take out food from the dining room. Drinks fit the category of all inclusive and you can get mixed drinks, post mix, beer or juices whole day at the outside bar or during meal times in the dining room. With missing self service on post mix, waiting times at the outside bar can extend with the increasing number of guests in the hotel or in the peak hours. Hotel does snot allow filling bottles with post mix drinks. We suspected tab water from causing some of our stomach aches therefore we used bottled water for drinking. One can get 6 pack of still water for 3 EUR in the hotel shop what turned out after comparing to other stores a fair price. Hotel has an animation team which is working hard to keep guests entertained. We found them funny and hard working though often we could not stay longer on the programs. Evening mini disco for kids is a must. Klara is running animations for the Czech and Slovaks kids, she is very friendly and children love her. The nearest beach is approximately 8 minute walk, mostly small rocks with water sport services. Nice sandy beach with diving opportunities is approximately 15 minutes from the hotel toward the rocky mountain. We also liked more distant beach with the harbor and blue church closer to Kolymbia downtown. It is a smaller sandy beach good for kids. As this is not beach front hotel, you have take care of your drinks while being on the beach. At last, we found our stay enjoyable though during first two days we had to adjust to some facts in this hotel I mentioned above. Value for money - it is ok for last minute deals but I would be disappointed if we paid a full price. May be ok for people who do not have previous experience with all inclusive in Greece, if you do, you will be probably disappointed.

    The best hotel.

The hotel is clean with good food and amazing rooms and a big pool with a bar. The bar is very clean and the hotel is the best on this area. There is a tennis court and left of it there is another park for kids!
