  Dirty room

  The staff let us checked in when the room wasnt ready and wasnt clean at all. We have to wait 15 mins until the cleaner arrive. Used towel on the bed & dirt on the floor etc We dont mind waiting but the property could have checked the room as per standard and be more aware about the room status. Nothing worse than lack of professionalism and cleanliness in my opinion. The hotel itself and location is very beautiful but it was not I expected when it comes to the room. So disappointed about this stay.

  Thai adventure

  Arrived here in early February via speedboat from the mainland. Stunning arrival and the resort is right at the end of the arrival pier. The rooms are a little basic as is the breakfast which is the only reason I knocked off a star. Otherwise this is a beautiful little retreat. The rooms are all beachfront and very clean and well looked after which more than makes up for the basic facilities and the food at lunch and dinner is exceptional. It was a wonderful start to our explore of the Thai islands. Its a small island with not much going on, but very relaxing.

  Great location

  I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the place. The house (B6) definitely needs an upgrade, but everything were functioning including the wifi at the room/house). The view from the house was amazing and the beach just in front. The staff were friendly and the restaurant fine, the room clean and drinking water were filed into the fridge every day. Its possible to book snorkeling tours and scooter rent and there is a little shop and a small supermarket. Yoga lesson at the neighbor hotel. Its also possible to rent a cano for rowing to Koh Kham (20 minutes away). I certainly can recommend this hotel.

  Small resort nice people good food

  We have been island hopping on this trip because we rent a sail boat. So we sailed from one island to another. Koh Mak is not my favorite in term of the place we stay maybe. Its small. Its cheap. But the food is awesome. The Bungalow is beyond simple. We got a family room. The toiletries are cheap and we didnt use it because its not up to our standard and we are not those people who are that high standard. The beach is ok as the sand is not fine. Water is warm but seem like there are small biting insect in the ocean so i didnt stay that long in the water. The lady who has a small boutique shop is very nice. She sell clothing made by the real local like tie dye sundress. The food at the restaurant is one of the best amongst places be visited in our island hopping though. Real good Thai food.

  Nice Oceanside Resort

  We took a taxi from our hotel to Koh Mak Resort. We paid 300 Baht a ticket to Koh Kram at the Koh Mak Resort. We also bought two boxes of food to go there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach is nice.
