  Quiet and relax place

  Im was so impressed when we reach the pier and hotel arranged a shuttle to pick us up and free of charge even when you checking out.. The resort quiet far from the pier but you can rent a motocycle from the resort hopping in Koh Mak.Appreaciate the service one of the reception, she was explain all the intresting places and advice us had to hopping a half day to Koh Kham..clear water white sandy beach. Amazing island...Whilst during our stayed the resort itself was quiet and fantastic place. Only one unhappy that the restaurant not much food to served;during my stayed im would like to try some fish or squid, but every time was unavailable..?? Do remember bring more cash due to No ATM and No convenience store nearby. Is only had a small minimart around the corner..

  Great pool, average rooms, a little overpriced.

  We are a family with 2 children aged 5 and 7. We stayed for 4 nights. The pool area is lovely and we spent a nice day relaxing and swimming. The rooms (huts, except they are concrete) are clean and comfortable with good hot showers, good a/c and nice views. Unfortunately the bathrooms can smell quite a lot and we had to move rooms after 1 night. The staff were friendly, especially on front desk and in the restaurant. We had one odd morning at breakfast when the usual lady was replaced by 2 colleagues who didnt have a clue what they were doing, but we got by! The dinner cost was reasonable and tasted good. If the hotel decided it was catering to families and quiet couples and therefore decorated their restaurant to feel like a beach side hang out instead of a disco/bar I think more residents would eat in instead of going out. Definitely recommend renting scooters on the island. Its small and easy to navigate. Koh Mak has lots of sandflies and its beaches can be heavily littered so its not quite the paradise its painted to be. The local government needs to address this issue across Ko Chang, Ko Mak and Koh Kood quickly or its going to have a big negative impact on tourism and the islands become more developed.

  Just for relaxing

  Stayed 3 nights. Room was very good. Clean and spacious for two people. Very nice view. The staff was very friendly. Food and drinks in the nearby restaurant at the beach was very good. There was a nice bar with good music at the pool. You have to get a scooter to get around on the island. Most bars, restaurants and shops were located at other beaches. But you rent the bikes directly at the resort. We did enjoy our stay at buri Hut natural resort and koh mak very much!

  2 Night Short Break

  Stayed for 2 nights in mid may. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Rooms very clean and good view from patio. Pool also good although with the tiles being brown in colour not the most attractive. Food in restaurant very good and cheap. Little bit isolated but staff will call for taxi if you want to go out. Also pick you up from pier when you arrive. Can buy return ferry tickets at the hotel too for the same price as at the pier so would not bother buying return ticket on way out.

  Really nice food!

  Amazing food and really good orange juice, I just love it!! Sadly I dont live at this hotel but it looks really nice and if I had the chance I would take it and stay at thid hotel. So good!!! Love it!!
