  Quiet and relaxing

  I booked this hotel for my first Europe vacation with my son (I have been to Germany over 15 trips for business) to be close to the zeppelin ride and museum. The staff is extremely helpful. I asked for some ice for my ankle and the waiter brought me an ice pack wrap in new towel. It is this kind of service that will have me recommending this hotel to others.

  un lugar muy tranquilo. Ideal para descansar

  El hotel es muy nuevo, al menos un edificio de ellos. El desayuno está bastante bien. El personal es muy amable, a 2 minutos en coche tienes un hipermercado para comprar, además de muchas tiendas y restaurantes. La piscina interior está genial!

  A transit stop enroute to Italy

  We booked this hotel as it was in an ideal stop enroute to Italy. It is not in the centre of Friedrichshafen, but it is an absolute gem. It is very modern with large rooms. The restaurant was very good serving local food. Breakfast was good.. Free parking on site. Free WIFI. Lifts to all floors. We took some time out on the lakeside some 5 Kms away parking was easy and access to the shopping centre not a problem. We will use this hotel again. Note if it is very hot the hotel has no air conditioning, but electric shutters keep the room relatively cool.

  WHY IS THIS HOTEL FOUR STAR????

  Nice setting and surroundings BUT; 1. The Standard Rooms are without an AC which at 34/35 Deg Cent is anything BUT pleasant. For a 2. We found that the Room we booked was without an AC. To have a Rrom with AC We had to pay and extra 27 per night. Moreover the AC is centrally controlled and to change the temperature we had to ask Reception - during nightshift Receptionist was not authorized to do it!! 3. On one of the days at 16:00hrs we asked for a sandwich as room service. We were informed that it was NOT POSSIBLE as kitchen opens at 17:30hrs!!!! 4. The Hotel boasts of an outdoor pool. It is a glorified Pond and we expected to see Gold Fish in it!!! Murky and Green!!! 5. Hotel Slippers and Gowns that we always find as standard in 4-Star Hotels that have a pool and/or SPA, had to be paid for as well - 4 daily for the Gowns and 1.50 to buy a pair of slippers. UNBELIEVABLE!!! 6. The Do Not Disturb card was nowhere to be found. 7. TV had no English or Italian Channels. 8. Jad a tiny bathroom in the first room without AC. We have been in some 3-Star Hotels that had all the above items/services as standard. In my humble opinion this is why I cannot understand how this Hotel has been categorised as a Four Star. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

  Nice and welcoming hotel

  Large room with comfortable bed and good matress. Nice indoor pool and wellness area with charming natural outdoor pool. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Some rooms have rolling shutters, which make it completely dark for a good night's rest (e.g. room 250). Rates are cheaper on hotel website than on booking.com. A small suggestion regarding the decoration (which is already nice) is to add a little personal touch or a small painting in the room, to make it even more charming and cosy.
