  VERY dissapointed!!!

  For $170 for this hotel, it was very disappointing! We called to weeks in advance to request a room with and extra bed and we were told thats fine as long as we pay an extra $20 which was fair.We arrived at our room and an old trundle bed had literally been wheeled into our room, they had to turn around a bedside table to it's side to fit the trundle bed in, which made our room extremley squishy. This bed was on wheels and had a trampoline like bed base and it made you sink into the middle so I was basically sleeping on the floor. Everything was dirty! We had to boil water in the kettle to clean the glasses, mugs and cutlery and dry them with tissues because the tea towel was dirty. The shower was so bad that the pressure made it flop against the wall so you actually only got a shower from the waist down. The toilet had mould on it as did the windows and mirror. And the towel holder was rusty. Just another thing to bring to your attention, there was a brown stain on the doona.. very unappealing AND, within 5 minutes of being there we had to kill a spider, I don't even want to know where that crawled out from. Now on a positive note, it was a good location and parking was provided. Defenitley will not be back though, and don't waste your money.

  OK considering price and location

  The room was average with small table and 2 chairs. Bed was good. Very small kitchenette with basic supplies which I didnt use. 15 mins walk into cbd through Fitzroy Gardens. Some small eateries and public transport nearby.

  Ok for the price

  Positioned close to amenities but not very comfortable. Had no bed side clock and room was looking abit shabby especially little court yard which needed a gardner. Bed was too hard . The staff were friendly and helpful though.

  Walked in, walked straight out!

  My mum n I had booked a room based on what the website pictures looked like. Only wishing now, we had read the reviews first! Took one look at the room and it was disgusting. I questioned the receptionist about why it looks so completely different to the website. Couldn't answer me. When we first walked in I thought we were in the wrong building! The smell alone was horrendous! Then they showed us our room, right next to reception.. well... It reminded me of the grandmothers bed! Knitted blankets, sunken beds, room was very very small. We absolutely refused to stay here and luckily the company we booked with, gave a refund. Never again, in a million years would we ever go back. After now reading these reviews, dating back to at least 6 years ago, how is it that these apartments/building is still allowed to function, not only that, the photos are wrong and very deceiving! Something needs to be done about this. Ruined our weekend!

  UGH. Do not bother

  Asked for an extra bed, there wasn't one. Husband slept on the floor so that my daughter and I could share the bed. Sat down on the bed and instantly had to kill a spider that crawled out from under the pillow. Bed was HARD and there were no spare pillows or blankets. Room smelt like old Indian food. Rubbish left from previous person/s under the bed. Bathroom was dirty, mold growing, broken tiles in shower that the pieces were in the bottom of the bath. Didn't even bother trying to use it. There was a sign saying if we wanted hot water, we had to turn the hot water system on ourselves and adjust it. Daughter was having surgery, husband went back to talk to them, the lady at the counter couldn't understand him and we handed back the key and found somewhere else for the second night. They did however put the key for the room in the safe outside as we were arriving late. But did not see one staff member while we were there...
