Just off the interstateNeed a place for the night and saw this one that had a good rate on the side of the roof, so I stopped there. The clerk was very nice and got me a ground level room. The Hvac worked well and the shower was hot. There was only soap, no shampoo, not a lot of outlets. The room was large and the bed was a king size and comfortable with nice pillows. There was coffee after 8 in the morning.

What a dumpTrashy people living there. No soap or shampoo, not that I was willing to bathe there. No lights worked except the dim overhead. Couldn't even read my book. Turned on the bathroom light/fan and it made a crazy loud clanking noise that sounded like a derailed train. Didn't smell and nothing was sticky, but I slept on top of the blankets anyway just in case. They were the only place I called that took dogs. I was passing thru and had to stop due to show.

Absolutely Disgusting, Dirty and Potentially DangerousBooked through Priceline.com. This hotel was the most disgusting hotel that I have ever ALMOST stayed in. I drove many hours and just wanted a place to sleep for while till hitting the road again. After checking in and being handed a TV remote (clue #1), I entered a room reminiscent of an Alfred Hitchcock movie and found it very dark and musty. I went into the bathroom and found the towel bar nearly pulled out of the wall, paint chips in the tub, holes and gouges in several areas and a sink mirror from which might have been pulled from the Titanic. I proceeded to pull down bed #1 and between the sheets were black hairs, long and short. Bed #2 had the same! I removed the pillow cases and found stained pillows; I pulled the fitted sheet down some and there was no mattress pad and revealed a mattress with stains and holes in it. On one box spring there was clearly mold, torn fabric and tape as an attempt (poor) to repair. Furthermore, down on the floor, just to the back of the bed side, I noticed numerous reddish small flake-like stuff. I enlarged them from a picture on my phone and it sure looked like bedbug debris. Thoroughly grossed out, I went to the front desk to cancel/check-out and get a refund. The desk attendant was courteous and yet "acted" surprised. I was told to call Priceline. I asked him for a note on the hotels letterhead acknowledging the cancellation. He refused and said to call the company. So right there in front of him I called Priceline. Interestingly, while on the phone I could see him now writing the note and ultimately gave it to me on an index card. Ok, final comments, as I was going to my car a Selma police car slowly cruised through the parking lot clearly making assessments and made his way around to the back of the building. I approached the driveway exit at the same time. I said this place was a dump. I am not allowed by TripAdvisor to state his response which would have been helpful in this review. He did recommend another hotel upon my request where they do not have short or long-term rentals to locals.

SketchyFirst off we had gotten a non-smoking room but smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors was lifting off the ground. There was also loud sounds throughout the night and bugs coming out of the walls. And stuff was left behind by the previous customer like the room wasnt cleaned up after their visit.
