  Busy hotel

  Just back from four nights at this hotel, we had a lovely time and lovely weather. The staff were very friendly, and we had a lovely breakfast each morning. We had a lovely sea view room. Parking was very easy, we hope to go back sometime next year.

  Really nice independent hotel. Ideal if you want a couple of nights away. They've got all the COVID in place. Rooms, bed etc comfy. Everything is kept cleaned. Free parking and not far to walk to local restaurants and cinema etc

  Amazing hotel

  Well what can we say, this hotel is amazing. All staff are very warm and welcoming. My husband and I stayed for the weekend for our wedding anniversary/ my birthday. Food was absolutely amazing, from the fish and chips we had, to the amazing breakfast in the morning. Brilliant menu choices . I enjoyed my meal that much and asked for the recipe, which they happily printed off for me. They even put a candle in my breakfast and sang happy birthday to me with other guests singing along too, it was such a lovely touch to a brilliant weekend away. We most certainly will be back.   Brilliant little hotel

  Lovely hotel, from checking in, explaining how it is all working through covid guidelines, let us check in early, as our room was ready, the hotel is very clean, nothing to much trouble, the staff helped out with anything we asked abt, the food was excellent. The breakfast would set you up for the day, with so much choice, inc lovely fresh scones, full English, never ending toast, little touches, proper China cups & saucers, same with coffee/teapots. The only thing, maybe have a little menu for children, and perhaps abit of a breakdown of your bill, rather than just totals, just little minor things, but did not spoil our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it, very well organised during these trying times, well done all the staff at Knights! Would definitely return agn.

  Amazing short break

  We booked a two night stay last week. We had such a lovely time we extended our stay by a day. We were lucky that our room was free so we didnt have to move but we were happy to move rooms if we had had to. We had room 14 with a lovely little balcony and great sea view. Lovely hotel. Amazing service and staff. The food - well all I can say is Im on a serious detox this week . The breakfast choices were fabulous and the extra little touches including home baked scones and cakes were fabulous. The full English was freshly cooked and perfect. One morning we had the sausage sandwich. It was also fabulous. The bread was fresh and massive . We decided to eat in the hotel Thursday evening. All I can say is wow. We went for the 3 course option. The starters we had - prawns and I had the goats cheese salad. Perfect. We had the steak for main. Cooked to perfection. What can I say about the deserts- delicious - my partner had the sticky toffee pudding - he is diabetic and probably not the best choice . It was divine and I had the lemon tart which was one of the best I have ever had. Compliments to the chef. The bar area is very nice and many a red wine was taken in there. Hotel was busy which was great to see and everyone chatted - socially distancing from course. The COVID-19 precautions were spot on and felt safe at all times. A one way system around the reception to the bar and restaurant worked very well. Every member of staff we came across were extremely helpful and lovely. There is nothing we can find fault with. Parking is a massive bonus and always a space. Malcolm you are a gem and kept us laughing and under normal circumstances Im sure we would have shared a bottle of the red stuff once you had finished work. We will definitely return and we feel so lucky that we had the chance to have a half term break before this second lockdown. I wish you and all your staff well and hopefully things will look brighter for the hospitality sector again very soon
