  Only stay here if you want to be mesmerized by the ocean

  I found Klitterhus Havsbadshotell when facing fully booked hotels in my usual locations. With a great price (70/night), the absolutely fantastic location and the free parking/wifi the choice was simple. I didnt know what to expect but upon arrival the first realization was that the rooms are clean, well kept and spacious. The only problem was the lack of AC. The big windows did however solve the heating issue. Next stop was to have the chilled afternoon beer overlooking the sea. The view is just stunning and sitting literally 10 meters from the waves really took the edge of a hectic business day. After my second beer in the sun i decided to go for the Skagen Sandwich (prawns, crayfish, eggs and all that jazz) just to keep my two beers company. The food is server on big plates with a smile. The only downside is that if you dont want the sandwich the remaining menu is high quality and therefore also slightly expensive. If money isnt a problem im fairly certain you will have a fantastic dinner. As your smack on the beach a nice evening stroll to the beach pub is almost mandatory. Toss the odd stone in the ocean and spot boats to pass time. After a strong nights sleep the breakfast leave you satisfied. Its not the biggest breakfast ive ever seen but it does the job. Selection of yogurts, cereal, the usual hot stuff and sandwiches fills you with the energy to challenge a new day. Well worth the stay and I will visit again.

  Charming location close to the ocean

  I spend the night here because no other hotels was available in the area. And I do not regret it! It is a very cozy hotel, and it gives a "family driven" kind of feeling! The reception/restaurand/bar area is very cozy, with comfortable chairs, and also to sit outside. Parts of the hotel could use some maintenance, but its not critical. I just feel some paint and fixing, especially outside, would do the trick. But i think weather may be rouch on this hotel during stormy season, so it has its charm nevertheless :) The room was old and very cozy, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also with a very "family feel", and the buffet was not super full, but they were good in replenishing as it goes. I think they are good in adapting to how fully booked the hotel is, and adjust the staff capacity accordingly. All in all i am very happy with this stay, and would love to come back here with my family one day :)

  I loved the beach-front hotel and enjoyed the sunsets!

  I spent 5 nights there. The hotel is called a "pensionat" which sounds funny to French ears as it is a hotel with comfortable rooms, good breakfast and excellent dinners. Of course dinner is not prepared every night, but you are told in advance. Add to that the decoration which is rather chic in hues of white, grey and beige. Special thanks to the hostess and the dinner waitress who are both friendly and helpful. Apparently the hotel is popular with business people who convene there to work as well, as there are various "spaces " where they can isolate themselves. I loved the hotel so much that I still think of my time there every day ;-)

  Almost on the edge of the ocean

  A wonderful genuine experience. Old fashioned hotel but gently renewed. In addition, the dinner was outstanding. A getaway for the weekend with delicious food combined with a beautiful view to the sea.

  Bad behaviour of manager

  Bad behaviour of the manager Mans Liden when we complained in the eveningh/night about a noisy party with a lot of hard music. Our room was just above that party. So we could not sleep at all. He did not inform us at the time we made a reservation by mail so that we could take another hotel. Also he dit not say "Sorry, we apologize for the inconvenience". The dinner in the restaurant was very good , although covid rules were not all applied.
