  Outstanding Destination in the North Country

  Weve had years of coming up to the Adirondacks and staying at various hotels, lodges, condos, B&Bs, Airbnbs - For no apparent reason, we had never made it to Kiwassa Lake bed and breakfast. Our stay over this past weekend made me regret that we had not ever discovered it before. On a quiet and of the lake, with the sound of the loons, removed but not too distant from Saranac lake, it is a peaceful respite that offers comfort, relaxation and true escape.

  A Little Bit of Heaven

  This is a delightful spot at the end of the road round Kiwassa Lake. It's quiet, peaceful and a wonderfully relaxing place. Our room - Eagle - had everything we wanted or needed, including good binoculars! Certainly Marjorie had thought of everything. The guest kitchen was a very useful plus. The place feels remote but is only three miles from Saranac Lake. We had plenty of rain and cold - at the beginning of June - and it was still a lovely few days on Kiwassa Lake.

  Best family run Inn ever!

  We spent 3 nights with Marjorie , her husband and her son Doug while up in the area for a wedding. Marjorie has the perfect personality as an innkeeper. She cooks awesome breakfasts and her son Doug who is a schoolteacher serves you. Scrambled eggs werent in the menu one am and she just whipped them up for me. They have canoes and kayaks you use for free. Their lab is a sweet older dog who loves attention. We laughed and enjoyed her and Dougs company so much felt like we were old friends by the end of 3 days! Stay here! Youll love it!

  Labor Day Weekend Trip

  We had a wonderful long weekend at Kiwassa B & B. The main building itself is a perfect example of an Adirondack lodge. Our room (Eagle) was spacious, clean, and nicely set up with a great view of the lake. Our hosts, Marjorie, Doug and Cliff were accessible, very helpful and super nice. Marjorie made a delicious breakfast each morning and Doug served us in a friendly fashion, always having more coffee at hand. Overall, a great stay at the Kiwassa B & B.

  attractive and comfortable

  The B and B is at the end of the road that runs along Kiwassa lake. It is right on the lake and our bedroom had a large window overlooking the lake.. The bedroom was very large, with comfortable chairs overlooking the lake. The bathroom was very large and well appointed. There is a small deck off the bedroom. Marjorie was a great host, and made us a delicious breakfast.
