Forget the negative reviewsJust had a very relaxing and enjoyable 11 night stay at this adults only all inclusive. We have stayed in similar level and above all inclusives across Europe and this compares favourably with many. Most of the negative reviews that i read on this forum made us somewhat apprehensive but all the issues in our opinion were unfounded. Check in was easy and our pre requested choice of room was very comfortable with two double wardrobes giving plenty of storage space. It appeared to have been recently renovated and was spacious enough for our needs. The tv was a little antiquated but we only watched the news on it a couple of times and the bathroom could perhaps have done with a makeover but was perfectly adequate. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely pleasant and courteous and the entire ambiance of the hotel was one of cleanliness and modern appeal. Air conditioning in dining room could do to be updated but not a problem. We never had a problem getting a sunbed but most had been taken by mid morning. The food was not the best we have had but there was always plenty of choice and something to eat, you certainly wont starve. You can book two restaurants at the neighbouring Kipriotis Village hotel (Italian & Greek) we attended the Italian and didnt bother with the Greek as this hotel had a once a week Greek night and the Village was also awash with noisy kids the night we attended. We had a couple of nights out in Kos Town which is only 9 euros in a taxi or 3.20 each way on the local bus and also went to a couple of local bars and the Sky bar which is worth a visit. The bar at the hotel is well attended and well serviced by the bar staff. This stays open until 0100 with AI drinks orders finishing at midnight. Entertainment was mixed but the acts brought in were very good. All in all we had a great experience two things for the hotel to note 1. Please get the staff at the egg station to smile and understand people want their eggs cooking at the time and not from a tray of pre prepared ones. 2. Avoid bookings of groups of both sexes as they can spoil the ambiance of the majority.

Brilliant hotelJust returned home after spending 11 days at Kipriotis Hippocrates hotel and had a brilliant time! The animation team and the bar staff made our holiday fun! Big shout out to Rollo in the animation team who was brilliant, fun and chatty. He kept everyone upbeat and I really enjoyed his aqua aerobics and evening entrainment! Elina behind the bar in the day time worked extremely hard and remembered our drinks order every time we went to the bar. The evening bar team were also friendly and we never waited long to be served. The lifeguard was also very chatty and worked hard. Never had a problem with getting a sun lounger and the pool was clean. Good choice of food and snacks for an all inclusive, food choices changed everyday and we never went hungry. Rooms basic but had everything we needed to sleep, get dressed and showered. Cleaners worked hard and gave us fresh towels everyday and changed bedding more then enough times. We got a taxi into Kos town for 9 euros, but I believe the bus is a lot cheaper. Bus stop right outside the hotel and goes to many places. We walked to the hotel from Kos Town one afternoon when we couldnt get a taxi and only took around 40 mins. Bikes and buggys can be hired from the shop outside the hotel, not sure on prices. We won a couple of bikes one night from the animation team from this place and they were friendly and set us up very quickly. We paid 10 euros each for pool towels (which can be changed every 2 days) which was refunded when we left. We paid 25 euros for a safe which are stored near reception, however this wasnt refundable. The only thing we would have wanted to make our holiday even more awesome was the evening entertainment to go on longer in the evening. Normally finished around 10.30, which we felt too early for an adults only hotel, but we know this is because of hotel management stopping at this time and not the animation team. We would definitely come back to this hotel and have recommended the place to our friends Thanks for a lovely holiday, Maria and Jason x

No wonder it was downgradedWhere to start. Arrived on the Monday all happy and ready for an amazing time to celebrate birthdays with friends. Booked in to room, WOW I never though I would write a bad review. Asked for room not on ground floor - walked out of patio doo straight to children play area (this is listed as adult only hotel), looked for mountain view - no such luck, the floor had a huge crack in from the hall to the toilet seat which was raised and dangerous in one room, the other room was no better and smelt of sewage as well as having an ants nest but apparently this is acceptable as ants live in the area!!! Went to reception and complained to be told to speak to Thomas Cook directly. Spoke to Thomas Cook who said speak to the rep, we would of if he had made an appearance. This took until evening trying to sort with no resolve. Tuesday was spent trying to sort again with Thomas Cook and yet again nothing and still no rep, asked for flight home to be told they would see what could be done but nothing came back at all, lots of phone calls and upset to be called by reception whilst still in the lobby that one room could be changed to a room with a crack in the floor (not as bad in fairness). So which poor room do we choose but upon looking at optional room not an option. Thomas Cook said we could move hotels at a cost to ourselves if we could find one!!! Finally Wednesday, actual birthday which should have been relaxing we were offered room changes for both if we wanted to wait around until 5pm ish, we changed rooms with no hesitation but by this stage a lot of upset and frustrations had set in so we didnt spend much time at the hotel. No rep from Thomas Cook showed up at all and we found out another 4 couples had been trying to find him to complain also. One night when we got back to the bar there appeared to be an altercation. The snacks didnt really exist unless you wanted a poor attempt of a sandwich, the food was packed away before the finish time (we only ate in the restaurant Monday and Tuesday evening). The pool is lovely and lots of loungers although the life guard could have worn longer shorts and we didnt really need to see she didnt wear knickers under them, she was more interested in preening herself or telling you off if you spilt a drink like you were a 5 year old being reprimanded. Evening entertainment ended around 11pm and was not allowed to be loud due to sister hotel and only very low music played so no real atmosphere. The bar staff were nice although sometimes a little moody but that could have been stress. I am not surprised this hotel was downgraded whilst we were there. Dont trust the Thomas Cook money back guarantee if you complain as we were offered less than 0.5% compensation but more importantly not even a sympathetic apology.

Malc SWe just spent a great week here having a very pleasant time. Can definitely say that all the staff: rooms, reception, bar, restaurant & catering, entertainment, pool-side were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Despina gets a special mention in the restaurant & the bar staff were great... the entertainment & pool-side staff kept us amused The food and choices catered for all tastes with a good variety every day Thanks!
