  Muy buena opción

  La habitación impecable, con dos tipos de almohadas diferentes y colchón muy cómodo. El baño espacioso y con todo lo necesario, presión de agua, bien. Buen nivel de oscuridad para dormir. Se escuchaba un poco el sonido de la carretera pero no interrumpía el sueño. La decoración muy buena. Como punto negativo, el restaurante, en el servicio de cenas (de pago) sólo tenían una opción de menú con primer plato, segundo plato y postre. Al final me hicieron precio al pedir sólo un plato, pero debería haber más opciones.

  Good Stay

  We stayed over for one night at the weekend and would stay again. It's a bit more interesting than some of the newer "business" hotels in the area. The good points: Nice location Friendly staff Clean room with great bed. Powerful shower and good, large towels Well cooked breakfast Not so good: Constant hum of road noise exacerbated by poorly fitting windows that allow both drafts and noise into the room. The room was a OK but looked a little "tired" and was showing it's age. The photos on the web site are a bit better than the reality.

  Terrible. Cockroaches everywhere

  Terrible stay last night at this hotel. Cockroaches scuttling on floor in bar, restaurant, hotel corridor and then, to our horror, in the bedroom. Hotel was run down, room dark with rattling windows, noisy busy road outside. Staff were not bothered about the cockroaches. They wore no masks and disregarded social distancing. Just an appalling place to stay.

  It's the staff that makes it

  We were a group of car enthusiasts booking a last minute trip to the Cotswolds. Whilst the hotel might need the odd bit of repair as a result of a skeleton staff working over the Covid period it mattered not one jot as we were so beautifully looked after by the most friendly and attentive staff. The food was also excellent, simple ingredients cooked really well. It was all very good value and the carpark perfect for our support cars and trailers. Whilst the A34 traffic tears past, separated by a much quieter road once inside the hotel it was quiet and peaceful.

  Comfortable stay

  The manager was welcoming and helpful throughout our (lockdown-permissable) stay. Rooms and communal areas were clean and comfortable. Covid safety measures were in place and relevant restrictions were explained clearly. Would happily stay again.
