    Excellent on all fronts!

I had a one night stay in Clifton and the Kingstown House was a perfect place to stay. The owners put care into every detail in order to make your stay perfect. Regina carried my bag up the stairs for me and made sure I had the town map. She was quick to answer questions about parking, where to eat, etc. the room itself was a good size with plenty of room to hang items or place things, including a luggage rack. The bathroom was fully tiled, plenty of soft towels, and just small touches that demonstrated their hospitality. The breakfast was wonderful with homemade brown bread and plenty of choices. I appreciated the use of linen rather than paper napkins and the elegant set of the table. It is not an upscale, fancy hotel. It is a home that strives and succeeds to make each guest special! Thanks for the lovely stay.

    Very Nce B&B

We spent the night here on our trip trip Ireland. Regina and Jim were very welcoming and accommodating. I contacted them before our arrival to say we would be getting to town early and asked if they would hold our luggage. The answer was a yes and they actually let us check in early which was super nice. Clifden is a small town so the location was perfect for walking and breakfast was very good.

A lovely Irish bed and Breakfast

Stayed in Kingstown House at very short notice and the lady of the house was so accommodating and welcoming! Very central to Clifden town (1 minute walk to main area) and they provided lots of info on best places to visit and eat. Rooms are basic but lovely and homely! We had a wonderful time, thanks so much.

Headed to Clifton, Galway? Stay here. Welcoming B&B, perfect location & the friendliest hosts you will find anywhere !

The Kingstown House is a friendly, comfortable and charming location in Clifton. Our hosts Regina and Jim were attentive to anything we could have asked for. Our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The rooms were large in order to hang items and put suitcases out of the way. Bathrooms were spotless with clean fresh towels. We all loved the smell of the handsoap. Wifi was always working with no problems logging in. The breakfast cooked by both Jim and Regina was just so delicious, the perfect Irish breakfast. We were close to area shops and restaurants right in town centre. At night the area was quiet and perfect for sleeping. Parking was so easy right outside the house or in a lot close by. Jim and Regina gave us great dining options and ideas on where to head out for the day. Regina even baked my mother a delicious chocolate cake for her 80th birthday. How sweet is she? Regina also hand knits scarves and hats. I will always stay at Kingstown House when I am in Ireland.
