  Brilliant 3rd Groupon Visit

  Just back from a great couple of nights at this hotel. It was our 3rd Groupon visit and it was just as good as before lockdown. Our room was great, lovely and quiet as requested, with a field view. Room 81. The restaurant food is really very good. The fish in herb sauce was delicious. It was all very well organized in the restaurant at breakfast, one way system etc. And all the staff are really very friendly, but professional too. All Covid safe. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go again. Keep up the great work. You deserve to be busy!

  Great two day stay with Groupon

  A great hotel with super staff, plenty of parking, spacious bedrooms and good food. The three course dinner on the first night was included in the price and was delicious as were the breakfasts and dinner on the second night. Particularly pleasant and helpful was Matt who worked in the restaurant. A particular bonus for us was the electric charging point which enabled us to top up the electricity used on the 100 mile journey there. The hotel is ideally situated to visit Stratford and a number of National Trust properties. We will definitely stay again!

  Amazing

  Went here for my birthday weekend it was simply amazing the staff couldn't do enough for us and was very friendly the choice of menu and food was very very good. Lovely room with comfy bed. Over all lovely stay would definitely recommend. Thankyou.

  Ruined Anniversary trip

  My husband and I visited Kings Court hotel last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Wed been given a groupon voucher earlier in the year and it took time to use it due to Coronavirus restrictions. On check in we were told our bed and breakfast reservation would be a cold continental delivered to the room even though I received an email the day before we arrived saying anyone on a B&B board would have to book a time for a breakfast to be cooked and served, it only went downhill from here. We had dinner at the hotel and were given a very obvious groupon menu with very little choice. When I asked the staff for more bread to accompany my starter it wasnt well received and as if Id asked for the world. The burger was less beef more cereal and we were just made to feel so uncomfortable in a really cold and unfriendly setting. The following day we had some drinks in the bar where my husband was refused service. When speaking to the manager Beth she had no interest in having a conversation with me and turned her back on me, the customer service offered by this hotel is truly the worst I have ever experienced. My job takes me around the world and I have been to several continents and never known staff to be so rude. As a manager it should be obvious that you have to deal with situations and not pass the load to somebody else. When complaining to higher management they informed me that I had actually been lied to by the staff as there was another manager in however I was told Beth was the only one. The whole staff banded together to form a story that they would all stick to if I wrote in, when we left the bar they were all huddled out the back discussing the situation, I felt bullied by them all. Though the room itself was lovely on closer inspection and due to current Covid-19 measures I would of expected it to have been much cleaner. The dust gathering on the light switches was actually disgusting. After contacting higher management and them doing absolutely nothing about the situation I am truly shocked to how poor the customer service is at this hotel, however if management do not care about their guests (groupon or otherwise) why would their staff? I would highly recommend you avoid this hotel at all costs and save yourself the heart ache of it ruining your time away.

  Well deserved 5 star rating

  I dont very often give the top rating on Trip Advisor, but on this occasion 5 stars is well deserved. My husband and I decided at the last moment to get away before Lockdown set in and we booked this break through Groupon. It was a bargain price and we went with open minds, but were blown away. Our room was warm, well furnished and so comfortable. All the staff were amazing. Our 3 course meal on the first night was limited due to using the voucher but choice was good and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The fish was beautifully cooked in a lovely white sauce. The breakfast (which was included in the price) was amazing. Every item cooked to perfection and such a lot of food. On our second evening we decided to have our evening meal again in the hotel, and again were so pleased with the food. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and my battered fish was lovely. Only criticism on my side would be that I would much have preferred the fish with the lovely crispy thick chips my husband had with his steak (not keen on skinny chips!). And the bruschetta with the salmon for my starter was so lightly toasted it just tasted like bread. However, the amount of salmon piled on top was mind boggling. We will definitely be returning. Keep up the high standards
