  We Like the Duplex Room

  My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in October. It is about 5 minutes walk from Exit B1 of Chui-Zhu subway station. After you get to the ground level from the exit keep walking ahead, past a school, a government building (Ministry of Transport), row of shops (can't remember the order) and the reception is on the third floor of the Yitai building. We stayed in the city-view duplex unit with the sitting area, bathroom and toilet on the ground level and the bed area at the upper level. I quite liked the room design and the bed at an upper level gave me a fun feeling of sleeping up at a tree house. It was very comfortable. We noticed rooms in the inner part of the hotel do not have window. So if you stay here, it is better to choose those ones with city view i.e. with windows.

  Nice Apartment, good quality

  It was a surprise for me to found out so amazing hotel in Sheng Zhang. Unique internal designed. Well-facilities in the hotel. Near the subway station. The price was really reasonable. However, the service have the room to improve. It is hard to understand the front line staff told me "We don't have room" without checking the room status even I had prepaid the booking from Agoda and provided the confirmation.

  Noisy, bad food, wrong advertisements...but cheap and well located

  The location of this hotel is quite good. Simply go to Exit B1 of Chui-Zhu subway station (line 3), walk leaving the main road on your right, and when you get to the main intersection turn left. The place is on the corner. The staff is great and friendly, although you will not always find someone who speaks English. If you will stay for a while that could be a problem. Also, when you check-in, make sure you tell them not to charge it to your credit card until you check out. They can charge some amount as deposit, but don't let them charge the whole amount. The rooms are nice, with the exception that there is no stove, even though it is advertised as such. You may have a microwave, but you will not be able to cook. Why would someone book an aparthotel without being able to cook properly is beyond me. But the stove is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is the NOISE. The rooms are on the 5th floor, so you will not be able to avoid the traffic noise. On top of that, every night there are a group of middle age women doing some sort of dances, with the music very high. I was offered a more quiet room but as long as you are on such low floor there is no escape. Furthermore, unless you are a local Chinese I am not sure you will enjoy the free breakfast. And even for locals that food has pretty low quality. All in all, and despite the friendliness of the staff, I cannot recommend this place.

  claustrophobic rooms

  when i first checked in they gave me a room which had no windows only humidifier running. i immediately told them to change my room then they gave me nice room which was also very small but had nice balcony. also in the morning the breakfast was nice with fruits and bread toast etc. all in all average experience
