  Te hacen sentirte especial

  Independientemente del sitio donde esta que es un paraiso, con unas bonitas playas y muy cerca de The Entrance, el trato que recibes es de primera. Nosotros nos alojamos en la casa Faraway, preciosa casa de 2 plantas con una piscina-jacuzzi en el jardin exterior, la habitacion con chimenea, en fin una delicia de sitio para disfrutar con tu pareja.

  Ah! Just what we needed

  An amazing two night get away for my husband and I. We had the Bayview terrace room which was awesome. Complete privacy and we could leave the shutters up and listen to the waves in bed. Complete privacy as well with the jacuzzi on the deck. Restaurant was nice and staff were friendly. Very very clean and well maintained. I dont think the website does it justice. A tad (and this is super minor) aged in the bathrooms but well appointed. A beautifully rustic bare foot luxury weekender close to Sydney !

  A delightful beach getaway

  We absolutely loved our three night getaway staying in a beachfront bungalow. The bungalow is an open plan concept with comfortable king sized bed, living area, and a small kitchen area that included a sink and an empty bar fridge to store your drinks. The sizable bathroom had a shower and a relaxing spa bath. The location is truly second to none. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck, sipping homemade Long Island ice teas and watching all sorts of happy people enjoying the beach and ocean. We found all the staff pleasant and welcoming. Particularly, the ladies who made up our room each day of our stay. We dined at the restaurant each evening and enjoyed the selection of meals from the daily roast of the day to the fresh seafood plate which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. However, we felt the included continental breakfast service needed a little refinement. It fell below our expectations and felt more like a two star motel experience - but, that was really the only slight disappointment of our stay. All in all, a wonderful and relaxing place to stay!

  Hit and Miss

  We thought that our 40th wedding anniversary would be the perfect occasion to experience Kims Beachside Retreat after many recommendations from friends. The location and surroundings are stunning and so idealic, especially on a hot summers day. Our garden bungalow was clean , comfortable and cool and centrally located to the beach and car park. However it did need a refresh as far as soft furnishings and mini bar facilities. The cane furniture in our bungalow was very on trend in 1980s and very dated. We had hoped that perhaps a complimentary bottle of bubbles in our room would have been a lovely gesture in wishing us well on our milestone celebration or even some complimentary cookies! So we then set our sights on dinner, where corned beef was on the menu! Not what I expected from a venue overlooking the beach. We were taken to our table and given a menu but had to wait 15 minutes to get our drinks menu. Our meal was pleasant but not what I had heard from many reviews. Service was very stilted and we are still waiting to see the dessert menu. Overall the experience was disappointing as we were so excited about visiting Kims on our special day. We werent asked to elaborate when asked about our experience on check out so I have taken to TripAdvisor.

  Very relaxing

  Very relaxing 4 nights in mid January,2021. Beach front and you can hear the ocean less than 1 minute away. Comfortable unit - may need a refresh - however clean and everything works! Lots of space including a balcony , bay beach easily accessible, flat surf unless the wind picks up with a slight swell. Perfect! We had dinner at the onsite restaurant on 3 nights - fresh seafood (Iluka king prawns highly recommended!) , good wine list. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful, yet unobtrusive! Kims is 5 minutes walk to Toowoon Bay shops, cafes , a restaurant, etc. Highly recommended- a nice formula that works very well!!
