  Rude front desk

  I left a review directly through kimpton email, but after 1 week and no response Im posting here too. Premium corner view on floor 2 was not nice, small windows you couldnt see outside Smoke detector issues Restaurant closed at 4pm in restaurant Front desk lady on departure fought me when I said my room rate I booked had free valet. $38 and now Ill never go back.

  DO NOT USE THEIR VALET

  1 star because I love the Kimpton pet policy and hotel itself is great. Their valet however is atrocious. Both my husband and I left a vehicle with valet over a weekend. My car was brought back with a huge scrape through the paint all along the drivers side running board that had not previously been there. My husbands remote starter was returned completely non-functional and when he had it looked at was told it was fried. In total hundred of dollars of damage to our vehicles. In addition when I arrived alone with 2 dogs, I asked the valet guy for a luggage cart which he brought and left. Every other hotel Ive ever stayed at, including other Kimpton hotels, help unload luggage and bring the cart to the room. There was not even an offer to bring my luggage cart to the room. I have never been to a hotel with such poor valet service.

  What a wonderful greeting from Vincent! He truly knows great customer service! This hotel is beautiful. We felt very safe here during this pandemic. They have taken all the right steps. Fun to get away and enjoy a wonderful stay. Thank you

  Great location but lacking elsewhere

  I hate to leave not so stellar reviews but I had a not so stellar experience here. The Pros: Awesome location in downtown Cleveland, staff was friendly, shower was great, valet experience was good The Cons: I booked a package directly through the hotel's website which included a King Premier room, valet parking, a $15 meal credit and a bottle of wine. I was able to check in easily through their app and received a notification that the room was ready. Got to the hotel to check in and the guy at the front desk seemed to have no idea what type of room we were in so he asked me, I told him, and then he proceeded to give us the wrong room anyway. He also gave us keys that didn't work so we got stuck on the elevator since you need a working room key to operate it. This room was corrected but we had to remind the front desk about the wine that came in the package. The best way I can describe this wine is that is tasted like drinking bologna water (It was free so ok). The room itself was fine, nothing special. Upon checkout I noticed I also got charged for valet parking which was supposed to be free with my room and had to call the hotel to have the charge removed. I probably would not stay here again.

  Almost perfect

  Driving cross country and ended up in Cleveland for the night. They had a room available and a decent rate. We thought the location was great. Within walking distance to a number of restaurants. We used valet parking. Front desk staff was great. Easy check in. Nice bar and restaurant. Room was nice. Little bit of city noise but not bad. Only down fall when we actually finally got to our room later in the evening, we found out the air condition did not work. We had already unpacked and ready for bed, so we just lived with it. Got up to 78 in the room. Otherwise everything else was great.
