  Do not stay here.

  Payed $180 for a basic room. Was awoken at 1.30am to an individual breaking into our vehicle. After chasing him off, some members of staff turned up and told us if you are worried, stay up all night and watch your vehicle! After finally falling asleep upon daylight, then checking out at 10am, receptionist said its halls creek, what do you expect?

  Clean, spacious but rock hard bed.

  Such a shame that hotels put these cement slab mattresses on the beds. I understand they are probably more durable but OMG how do you expect anyone to sleep on them. Worst three nights I have had for ages. The room was clean, sparsely furnished but fine for my needs. Shower was hot and had a strong stream of water which I like. Sports bar staff very friendly and the meals were really good. Beer was cold too!

  Not too bad

  We arrived late and it was a bit of a mission to get in but the night manager Danielle was absolutely amazing. Nothing was a problem and she did it all with a smile, (some documents had to be emailed,printed) The room was clean and large bed was great. Remember though, you are in the middle of nowhere and as things go out here this place is above average.

  Never to Stay Again

  Booked via Booking.com which incorrectly stated the room so that had to be changed and paying well over $200 a night is exorbitant for what you receive. We were placed in a room well down the back corner away from everyone. Access to the room was via a dirt track and I have an elderly mother and 2 kids which made it interesting carrying all our gear as we were advised to ensure car was empty. My mother returned to reception to state that we felt exposed and unsafe and she was rudely shrugged off and dismissed. I would have thought that stating we felt unsafe would have prompted some help to change but we were told that they were full. So that night the majority of units surrounding us were EMPTY. Cue 0300hrs with a smashed window and a police visit. At no stage have we heard from the hotel or if we were OK. We had to track down the kitchen people who gave us some glad wrap to try and sort out driving over 300kms to get new window but a trip to Coles Express saw that we got some help. Appallingly rude poor service, unsafe and ridiculously expensive sum this experience up.

  A clean oasis

  We had a Deluxe Room, it has a double bed and a single bed, TV, bar fridge, broken room safe, good lighting and was air-conditioned. Wi-Fi was promoted, but we couldn't discover it on our laptop or phone. The safe in the room didn't have batteries in and when I got batteries from reception they couldn't be installed as contact points had been broken off. They have a nice pool, sports bar and restaurant. However, the restaurant was closed for a private function on the night we were staying there. The sports bar provides good pub meals and has seating inside, on the verandah or on the lawn. On arrival, I was greeted in a curteous but curt manner, not with a smile. All other staff were friendly and helpful Our room was nice and clean and parking was available.
