    Low value for money

The staff does not speak English at all, and the service is generally lousy. 4 nights with no change of sheets and insufficient room cleaning in general. Spill of coffee and used cups are not removed, not even in the common areas. Sunbeds are only available for those guests that reserve beds before 7 AM. The food at Windy Bar does not come close to the standards for the Vietnamese cuisine. + Location and breakfast was fine. Plus for free airport shuttle.

    It was okay

We stayed here two nights. The down side to this hotel is ....The beds are very hard. We asked for a topper or something to make it softer and they put extra blankets underneath to try and make it softer but that didnt work. So we went and grabbed the lounge chair cushion that kinda worked. There is only hot water in the shower not in the bathroom sink. Had to run the shower for about 20 minutes to get hot water which we found was a waste of water. They keep your passport which I wasnt very happy about. The pool was nice but they need more lounge chairs. All the chairs had towels on them by 7am and as we watched some of those chairs were never used which was frustrating for us as we wanted to sit by the pool. We left and went to another hotel after two days. The good things about this place is the staff. They were friendly and a few of them spoke English. The breakfast was good with a good variety to choose from. The staff arranged for a scooter us which was a quick and easy process.

    Terrible!

breakfast: almost nothing to eat for non ansians for breakfast. all hot foods except eggs were vietnamese. lady at eggs station was half cooking the eggs and got angry when i asked her politely to cook them more because white part was still unckoked. all buffet was vietnamese foods.orange juice for example is 1 every 4 days and rest days you can drink just water (rest of juices are not drinkable). 1 out of 10 days we saw cheese at breakfast and we didnt try as we saw a family of flies having a party on and we didnt want to ruin it. prices: all prices of menus, drinks, ice creams are very overpriced and they do not include 10% tax and 5% service that is kept to you as a suprice. whatever you see at the end you pay it 15% more. passport holding: they refused giving us the room unless handing them our passports (not just a copy) so we were stuck with a small kid and bags. we had to decide between being on the streets or giving our passports (which belong to our goverment and not to us). we gave them and after we complained to agoda they return them but its the only way to get them back. in case passports are lost how we will get back and who will take the resposnibility or issue us new (agoda or the hotel). english language: the staff even at reception dont speak english (at all).you have to use google translate even at reception. i ask pay the bill and they gave me toilet paper... 2 girls only speak english (Deep if i got her name hood, which is 6 days per week running like crazy to help everybody and the singer which comes only evey night to sing). so good luck. pool: use wake alarm to reserve a sunbed or you will need to use a table and chair. pool was an infinity pool but now nothing is overflowing and since it does not have skimmers the vacums are running all day sucking (i found out by having my finger cut by being sucked in the hole and later on my wife found and now she has a big blue spot on her). i tried to explain to pool guy who was polite and smily but he couldnt understand the risk of having some sharp 9cm tubes sucking all day underwater at about 40cm from surface with so much power (e.g. a baby hand or leg can be sucked in). for towels you must sign on a reception book every single time you return them or borrow them (twice per day) and if lost you are charged. sea: there is not visibility (water is brown). no snorkeling. no sunbeds on the beach unless you want to carry heavy wooden chairs from upstairs down to the beach. at the last day after checkout and while being on bus i was asked by receptionist to exit the bus because i didnt pay something. i went they asked me 40k vnd (less than 2 eur) for a bottle of water. i was humiliated! i paid 46vnd and after i realised that they did mistake and were talking about the big bottles of water we bought from the supermarket nearby (because small ones were free and evey day housekeeper brought new). i went back took them to the room and explained them. after having me waiting and ingnoring me they is told me it was for the 2 small bottles that they put on table of the room (which were free). i was humiliated and also they steal me! dirt & moisture: rooms were not cleaned properly. on 3rd day when we looked under bed we found garbages from previous visitors and generally room was not properly cleaned. also we had to ask for new shampoo and water (alought they could see that shampoo and water finished we had to ask some times to give us). around the perimeter of the room you could see a 2-3cm wide acumulated dust line. on the wall near the balcony there was moisture and paint fall off. pillow: very thick and hard (try put 2 bricks on above the other and sleep). location: location is good but no options for bars to seat at night so all nights we had to spend at the hotel's bar now the good news: there is a small vietnamese restaurant with very tasty food.its opposite the massage on the way to the main road. we loved the vinepearl safari/zoo/land and cable car/waterpark. regarding the hotel only, sorry except Dip the girl who speaka english/Maria the singer and the free airport transfer there no other good news if you search on tripadvisor for almost all my comments i made about the hotel, you will crossverify them with other reviews and this makes me conclude that generally it is a bad management issue that things keep going wrong for so many years we are talking about a 3 star hotel that we well payed for it and received services for a hostel (the ones that include a pricelist of how much each damage cost on the rooms, the ones that demand passports etc). we spent till now over 4 months in SE Asia and 1st we leave negative review for a hotel.

    Worth of money

When you go on a holiday you must not expect always luxury with low price. We spent there one week in january 2020 and we liked the place alot.Breakfast good enough also for western people.Staff is very frienly and helpful even though they do not spek english very good,if at all.If I could I would go again. The sunchairs, always the chairs,in the beach were taken early in the morning and the swedish were so stupid that they made the reservation both in the shadow and in the sun shine, they had two chairs and some had none, stupid people suprisinly.
