Mejor hotel de la zonaEs lo mejor que se encuentra por la zona. El personal es muy amable en general. Particularmente el Barman del pub un personaje muy amable y simpático. La comida del Pub es bastante aceptable pero lo mejor son los postres.

Very good - especially for a 3* Hotel. Staff wonderful. This was my first visit to this hotel - and, generally, I was not disappointed. I had asked (online) for a quiet room, so had to have a change from my original allocation; I had been informed, by email, that my replacement room had a bath (that I had originally requested). However, when I entered my room I quickly found out that it didn't have a bath. I 'phoned the receptionist who came, within a few minutes, and showed me to an alternative room that also had a bath. This room was in a quiet area - so I had two very good nights sleep! At dinner that evening I had breaded fish (locally caught). It was the best that I have tasted in the last 30 years! There was enough for three people!! My Raspberry Ruffle Cheese Cake was very tasty - and of the right consistency (it seemed to have been made "in-house"). On my second night, I had a Chocolate Brownie, that was exquisite! Service was exceptional/personable - but only 50% approximately of staff wore masks/plastic visors! Distancing, however, was good. Breakfast on my first morning was nicely presented and delivered by a very pleasant and friendly waitress. She, helpfully, gave me excellent and accurate directions for the Carlingford Ferry that I was to take that morning! However, the breakfast "starters" of fresh fruit, peaches, plums etc were displayed "Buffett style" in glass containers with glass lids (with no handles); this wouldn't have been acceptable in "pre-virus" times - but was potentially dangerous at a time when the virus is increasing in its "spread". Additionally, customers could make their own toast from bread displayed openly, where others could easily "accidentally" touch adjacent slices! However, distancing was well practised and hand antiseptic was available at the Restaurant entrance. I had been advised that the hotel had its own car park (CCTV in use) - but spaces were rarely available as the hotel was hosting a "course" - attended from 9 am - 6 pm appx. by up to 100 people, during the month of August (something I hadn't been informed about). I would have no hesitation in returning - and, generally, would highly recommend the Hotel and its Restaurants (if action was taken to improve "coronavirus precautions").

Eat Out to Help Out BargainAvailed of the government scheme to treat ourselves to somewhere new. Got the ferry from Greenore and had a lovely drive, had booked here for evening tea. We had to wait for the kitchen to do prep for evening service because they had been so busy --> always a good sign! Mammy had the chowder and it was lovely, I had the biggest chicken wings I've ever seen, also fab. We both had mussels for main course and they were divine. Bowl was massive, had to ask for a bowl for the empty shells and a finger bowl but the waitress was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and chatty. We'll definitely be back!

Girly weekendMy mum and sisters stayed here for the weekend. There was four of us and we had one room which consisted of 2 double beds and a single bed, the room was immaculately clean, the bathroom was spotless, free WiFi is also available. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional especially Chelsea the receptionist, Paul and Emonn bar staff and Brenda the manager. The staff provide the guests with VIP treatment and nothing is to much bother. The restaurant food is outstanding with a variety of meals these are all reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back, the friendliest and nicest staff I have ever met, thank you for making our stay so memorable.

" SPENDIFEROUS "We got married at Kilmorey Arms last year and we returned for our first anniversary, once again thanks to the staff, chefs, Brenda, Andrew, Sam and Lenore for making it very special. Unless you visit for yourself you will never know how welcoming and friendly everyone is. The refurbishment and redecoration can only be described as " HIP TRENDY AND VERY HOMELY " brilliant, thank you all and see you again soon.
