  Ontario's Best Kept Secret

  Highly recommend this lodge. We stayed in a Portage Room which was well appointed for a quiet, unplugged getaway. Beautiful scenery and hiking. Staff and service were excellent. They were all very pleasant. We had the meal plan, and the menu choices provided something for everyone. We were fortunate to be able to explore the trails close by and the pink granite did not disappoint. We wandered over to Canada House (world's largest log built conference centre) . It is spectacular! We met a gentleman clearing brush, and he told us about the wooden paddle monument to be erected on the lodge site and handcrafted by Mike Ranta (canoeist extraordinaire) and his dog Spitzii. That kind gentleman we discovered was the owner of the lodge, Holden Rhodes. He couldn't have been nicer. It's obvious the lodge is a labour of love, and the people we met during our stay made our visit to Killarney Ontario SO amazing!

  A piece of paradise

  KML is a place for everyone, whether you like adventure or prefer to just relex. We travelled with 3 families, 4 kids ages 11 - 15 boys and girls and everyone agreed that this was a very special place. They offer free use of their kayaks and canoes and stand up water boards (these could be better or replaced with newer ones) however it was very convenient to be right on the lake. So much to see and do just outside the resort, hiking, swimming, cliff jumping. The stars at night are incredible. Bonfires in the evening. A playroom for the kids and adults which was great and the kids really enjoyed it. I would love to see more gluten free, vegetarian options and better affordable prices. We would go into the little town to have to lunch and breakfast at times as it was more affordable.

  Killarney in the Winter

  We are unconditional fans of Killarney. The Lodge is ideally located and the only place to stay (apart from camping). New bedrooms are great, staff super nice. If it was less expensive we would come more often...

  Great beds, great location but a bit pricey

  Stayed at the lodge for closeness to the Park, which was great. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. No TV or wifi but that didnt matter to us. But no coffee maker in room was a bummer. We did get coffee from the office, but ended up with an additional charge for them, which was a bit surprising. We were the only guests at the lodge that night, we were hoping for one of the rooms facing the lake-unfortunately we were given a room to the back of the lodge. All in all, really nice place, location and bed, but for paying the premium price to stay at the lodge instead of their sister site, the sportsman, I wouldve expected a bit more amenities to be included in our stay/room. And, for being off season we wouldve loved a room with a view.

  Hockey tourney at Lodge.

  We had supper here tonight and it was awesome even through these Covid times Victoria went above and beyond to help us out!! Highly recommended Food was served with a smile. Today society doesnt have enough establishments like this. 5 * all day
