  Fantastic!

  This was our first visit to Thailand and it was fantastic. The hotel is in a rainforest and the most amazing place I have ever been, it even beats the Maldives, except for the calm sea. We were fortunate to go as UK went into lock down while we were away. The hotel and staff were brilliant and considering towards the end of our holiday they were going to be unsure of their jobs, they all continued to have a smile on their faces and still very professional, this I commented on to the Managers on our last day. Ours was the last Tui flight out of Thailand and they sent an empty plane to get us. In Thailand we had our temperature checked wherever we went but unfortunately not when we got back to London Gatwick. If you are considering this hotel and you enjoy good food, service and a safe environment then you can be sure to get this hear. We hope to return to the Merlin kao lak as soon as we can and hope that every one will be safe there in these trying times. Thank you so much for your help and kindness while we were there.   Just gets better

  We returned to the Merlin again this year( our 4th visit. ) We always said we would not return to the same place twice as it's a big world out there and so much to see but this hotel is amazing and as usual were not disappointed. It really is the best, the most beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, fantastic pools and fabulous food. The staff are all outstanding going above and beyond to ensure that the guests have a wonderful stay. We are so lucky to have been able to have our holiday as the lock down started while we were away. Some restrictions had started in Thailand by the time we left but the very high standards of the hotel remained at all times. We hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Be warned we have booked to return next year and are already counting the days.

  Peaceful hotel

  When I stayed here I felt like stay in the forest. The hotel surrounded by trees so the air is so fresh and peace. The beach is beautiful. The room is good decorated, comfortable, wide and clean. The staffs are very nice. And this hotel is friendly to environment.

  Fantastic

  Great location, lovely setting with amazing gardens Khun Gai (the owner) and ALL the staff members are so pleasant, friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble Very nice and spacious room with fabulous private pool Excellent restaurant with beautifully presented dishes and very good breakfast Stayed there in September and December 2020 and will definitely stay there again as soon as we have the opportunity Highly recommend, the best in the surroundings

  Peaceful getaway

  The resort is located on the beach with a lot of trees. The resort promote sustainable environment while to do several "green" activities, especially for wildlifes. The resort is big and several low-rised buildings and 4 swiming pools and 2 large waterfalls. We stay at the nature wing near waterfall. The room is comfy with wood floor and good bed. All staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. All other meals are at reasonable price and big portion. It's seems to be good family hotels with activities for kids with "Green" activities, kids pool with slider and large playground.
