  It seemed like a good idea...

  Met by golf cart and transferred to reception. There was nobody there. Eventually shown to upstairs concrete room. (It turned out to be a mushroom with a coloured roof!) The room had concrete walls and fittings throughout. It was the only room left, as the hotel was apparently full of Thai guests from Bangkok on the holiday weekend. The phone didnt work so I couldnt phone reception to ask for the internet password which was not provided at check-in. In the bathroom, the sink was broken concrete, the tap was wobbly and the loose shower was just a joke. There were Thai hairs on the floor, which hadnt been cleaned properly and mosquitoes! There was a surprisingly big and comfortable bed. The next morning, light poured in the rooms six windows, despite the curtains. The room was overlooked so I darent open the curtains. As for breakfast no juice at all, sweetened coffee from a sachet, various unnamed dishes in a small concrete room with dirty dishes left on tables. It might have seemed like a good idea at the time one with nature and all that. I prefer my creature comforts. Notwithstanding the friendly, helpful staff and warm pool, two stars.

  Cute Mushroom Shape Rooms

  We have had a good final stay at this resort in Khao Yai but we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the onsen pool in the resort as we checked in quite late. We stayed in the Panorama Sweeny Family room - it was ok though. The upper deck is narrow and could only squish in 2 adults the max. More lights should be added in the room as it's quite dim. Cleanliness in the room needs to be improved too, as I felt itchiness all over my body after sleeping on the bed on the upper deck. We were given a free drink its a small bottle of mushroom juice, which ironically tastes very good. Then later in the evening, we were served with a cup of hot mushroom tea and its brought to our room. I personally think that this is a very good gesture to treat the guest and I really appreciated it. Credit must go to the staff of the resort, from the Security Guard to the Reception - they are so attentive, helpful, and friendly, albeit limited English is spoken.

  Dated small hotel

  Dated small hotel surrounding a small pool, mushroom themed obviously. Small negligible gift shop at the car park area. Receptionist allowed us to take a few photos and have a quick look around. We weren't keen at all as it looked like something out of the 1990s, its heydays long over. Easily found along the main road

  Something different

  Stayed for night. Something nice for an experience. Don't expect expect much with price you are paying. The morning feeling was a good one with the nature surrounding the resort. Just ensure you have proper food/snack stock up before heading back as there is not much places to go during night time.

  Mushroom Theme & Heated Pool

  We stayed at the Panaroma Luxury room which has a loft, however the loft was too hot and stuffy for a nice sleep as the only portable fan couldn't really provide enough air ventilation. With the high price we paid for the room, we were disappointed when we were given a room with broken door lock and loose sink tap and no room slippers. The hotel information / rules were printed in Thai language, we hardly understand and the staff speak limited English. We only like the mushroom juice and the heated pool especially best for night swim.
