  Mr Khao Sok welcoming and helpful

  we came for a day originally but Mr Khao Sok made us so welcome and helped us get everything we wanted from the national park, he and his dog Coffee hosted us a lovely evening of drinks food and relaxing in the beautiful environment. Rooms are comfortable with both fan and AC and Thai food was traditional and excellent. We ended up staying another day and would highly recommend.

  Not great- passable

  This accommodation was passable but not great. The room was clean but run down, paint pealing on walls, wire hanging loose from the ceiling There was no hand wash provided in the bathroom and the bedside light switch didnt work. There staff were nice enough, aircon in room and the price is affordable. I think this accommodation is okay for a very short stay where you plan on spending almost no time in the room.

  They tried to scam us

  This hotel is definitely not as nice as the photos.. But the real scam started when we asked them to help us call our next accommodation we had booked on the lake because we needed to arrange transit there and wanted to make sure everything was confirmed. Long story short, they tried to arrange for us to go to the wrong hotel because they probably get money from doing this. Full story... We emailed our next accommodation and hadnt heard back so we asked Khao Sok Green Valley Resorts employees if they could call them for us. They werent able to get hold of them either but around 10:30pm, two employees came knocking on our door that they got hold of our accommodation and transit was all set for tomorrow. They had us talk to a woman on their cell phone from the hotel... We thanked them and thought nothing of it. The next day, our driver arrived and we headed to the lakes pier. During the drive there, the driver pulled over and a woman came out to the van pretending she was a representative of the hotel we would be staying at. She tried to confuse us making it seem like there was a double booking and tried to aggressively get us to go online and cancel our booking promising she had rooms for us. This didnt feel right and we kept saying no. She started insisting and getting very rude and even told me to shut up when we started catching on to something shady happening. Eventually she went away after we kept saying no and we continued the drive to the pier. At the pier, we found a representative for the correct hotel who called the correct hotel for us and they said they never talked to us on the phone last night and had not arranged any of the transit for us. Khao Sok Green Valley Resort was in on a plan for us to go to the wrong hotel. This lie went so deep with how many people were involved and how intricate it was planned for us to go to the wrong place instead of where we booked online. If they are in on something this elaborate and malicious, who knows what other mischief they are up to. So I would say, DO NOT STAY HERE and please be wary of this scam when booking other places.

  Best place we have ever stayed!

  This resort is absolutely perfect and I wish more accommodations could be like this. The staff are like one big family and as soon as you arrive they treat you like part of that family. We had originally booked another place, but it wasn't very good and very far from town, so we called Green Valley and spoke to the owner Kraisak, also known as Mr Khao Sok. He immediately found us a deluxe room (like a detached bungalow) and sent a car to pick us up straight away. Kraisak has such a bubbly, friendly personality and it really makes you feel good to be there. All of the staff are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. We booked our tours with them and had a fantastic time jungle trekking, going to the lake and also the night safari. We are so grateful to Mink and her friend (I am so sorry I don't know your name). They are have such wonderful personalities and I miss them. I really cannot express how amazing this place is, room is fantastic, all the food is excellent, everything is kept spotlessly clean and they also have a beautiful black Alsatian dog called Coffee. We want to go back to Khao Sok Green Valley Resort!

  Great people and location

  This trip we stayed in another hotel and regretted it from day one. We came to green valley everyday for food, drinks and day trips. Last time we stayed here and the owner and staff are super nice and have a do anything attitude. We live in phuket and visit Khao sok regularly Highly recommended
