  Great upgrade of the Hotel

  Since working around the corner from the hotel and travelling to Melbourne for work and is close by, Have stayed here a lot of times over the years 2000 - 2018 and still am. Agreed the hotel required serious work and upgrade and very un hygienic at times over the years.. However, I stayed at the hotel last June, July 2018, and to my surprised it has gone through a major overhaul, the room were cleaned, new paint, new carpet, bed sheets smelled fresh, non smoking, Shower and toilet are new, a nice table for coffee and breakfast, aircon, bed is new and comfortable and is now uses swipe Card for entry. Well done Team Keysborough.

  Keysborough Hotel Melbourne

  Not your 5 star hotel but for the price it was excellent, clean and had all the essentials. I read some very bad reviews after I had book so was very nervous about my stay but it was much better than I had excepted as it was recently renovated. Staff were very lovely.. if you just need a place to shower and sleep I would highly recommend Nightcap at Keysborough Hotel

  First impressions count

  First impressions count I would not really recommend this place the whole outside of the hotel is filthy it's very noisy as well the rooms were ok I would not even eat a meal here get your karcher out and clean outside and the entrance to your hotel it has vomit spit God knows what else we have stayed at nightcap hotels before and have been really clean so got a shock at this one do a drive by and take a walk around before staying here even the menus were very sticky and dirty other places wipe them over there is carpet in the dining room so food was just trod in I hope you steam clean your carpet regularly

  Unsatisfactory stay

  Very dissapointed with the cleanliness and lack of care to deliver acceptable accommodation. We arrived approximately 12:30 am on 26th December absolutely exhausted so went to bed asap. When I woke up I discovered that I had been sleeping under a blanket that had faeces and dried stuck on food on it and my children were sleeping under a doona that had a cigarette burn hole in it and coffee stains on it. The blanket was changed at my request to the cleaners and the doona was swapped for another that had even more coffee stains and a cigarette burn hole in it. The bathroom had thick dust,hair etc on the top edge of the tiles that are along the wall and connect to the floor tiles. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and in the room in the closet and luggage shelf areas. I killed 2 spiders, several cockroaches and all of us woke up Thursday morning with bites on us. Peeling paint on the wall and wet, greasy something on the black timber, 2 hook hanger on the wall. I spoke to 2 managers on 2 different days. On Friday was told by the manager he would talk to the owner and they would get back to me; no one did. On Monday 30th when I asked to speak to the owner I was told I couldn't, that I had to speak to a manager. I told both managers that I had photos and both didn't want to look at them.Very disappointing, I would give a zero rating for this hotel.

  Very comfortable

  Stayed here for work for 4 nights and I thought it delivered. Clean rooms, rooms made up each day with the complimentary water and toiletries replenished. A nice bonus was the continental breakfast box each morning. Very convenient with the pub next door that do excellent meals. Only negatives were it wasnt clear where the motel reception was and does get a little noisy
