  Great value for a family stay, but don't expect luxury

  Stayed here for one night on a family trip to Jeju based on a recommendation from a family member who had stayed here previously. The rooms are quite big and can be considered a suite or residence, with a kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. However, note that this hotel appears to be targeted to local travelers, as there is only one actual double bed in the room. The other two bedrooms involve sleeping on the floor (common in many hotels in Asia), although bedding is provided to make this comfortable. While everything in the room appeared clean, the room is a little run down, and much of the bedding doesn't involve the usual sheets that Western travelers may be more accustomed to. Wifi is available for free in the lobby area. During our stay, there is a school trip to Jeju where the students stayed at the hotel, and the lobby was crowded due to the students using the connected devices. Overall, I'd stay here again as the price was quite reasonable for a family trip. As long as your expectations are reasonable for this budget and value driven accommodation, it should be satisfactory.

  Opulence.

  Came on a low season. Everyone was helpful. Beautiful atrium with a three story high ceramic mural made from a composite of hand-size shapes! Wonderful to sit back, enjoy a drink and listen to live music. The room was comfortable. The pool was interesting to swim about, going from indoor to outdoor via a channel. The Korean was pricey and standard; better to wonder out for food. There are so many excellent restaurants nearby. Take note that the hotel has a bus that take guests from the airport to the hotel and back. Public transport is very inconvenient. The public bus stops in front of the road to the hotel, but then you have to drag your luggages to the top of the hill to check-in. Also we found that tour the island is best done with a hired car. Very reasonable fixed day rate, determined by hours and not distance; so, can easily fit in a three or four attractions. Our driver recommended a hot pot place for lunch that was fantastic (unfortunately, I don't know how we got there; so, cannot recommend).
