Okay for short tripThis is my second stay. Okay for couple of days. 5mins from Assembly Metro, markets closeby, breakfast just okay.IFC Mall 7 mins walk. During Summers, nice little markets near the river bank which is like 5mins walk. Yeoido Full Gospel Church is just opposite to the hotel. However, be aware, they dont allow early checkins, so expect unusually long queue around 3pm. Found 50% of power points in room to be not working (they fixed couple of for me though).Room heater temperature adjustments are not the best.

Pay close attention to the room you reserveWe've stayed here in the past, and it was a lovely room before, freshly renovated and clean. This time, it was one of their old, non renovated floors. It was dusty, run down, quite stuffy and smelly despite airing it out. Make sure you ask which floor your room is on and if it's a renovated floor. However, I did give it three stars because the staff were quite friendly! They even put something I needed frozen in their own employee fridge even though we stayed there for a whole week! And the breakfasts are very nice too. They even change it up a little everyday.

An excellent choiceStayed here for 8 days on a trip in June. As there is an upscale Kensington on Saipan, the island we live on, we decided to venture to the Kensington in Seoul. We were not disappointed. The is a first rate hotel. The rooms are twice the size of most Asian rooms and well appointed. It seems to be recently redone. We visited the buffet for lunch and though pricey it was most excellent

Big difference from Executive Rooms and regular roomsThis is the 2nd time I have stayed here, the first time in the Executive Rooms. Due to budgets at work we stayed in regular rooms this time but I hadn't been too worried thinking how big a difference could there be... Quite a lot as it turns out. Rooms are very dated and in need to basic maintenance. My room could have done with the thorough clean. The bed linen had numerous holes in it and it wasnt changed throughout the whole stay (5 nights). The air conditioning was ineffective. I had to ask for a separate fan to allow any significant cooling in room....didnt sleep at all first night thanks to poor air conditioning. Additional fan helped although this added even more noise. The bathroom was in poor repair. The toilet leaked continually. I had to put a towel down on floor as floor around toilet and under waste bin was soaking when I first arrived...quite disgusting. Breakfast...often felt rushed. An okay selection, but definitely catering for a more Asian breakfast palate. Given how well kept the executive rooms had been 2 years ago when I stayed I was very disappointed by the regular rooms, whole place needs a refresh. Staff also not overly helpful, on making complaint about the bathroom and fault with toilet nothing was done. Remained broken for the whole stay. I dont think I would rush to stay again should work take me back this way.

Bad rooms, bad service, insects in roomI was very hopefull about this hotel, since I saw the nice pictures from the front building and lobby online. However, my "premier room" was by far not premier. The room was outdated, smelled and there was bad arconditioning which made a lot of noise. Furthermore, a lot of things were damaged. Also the internet was not working or very slow. According to the front desk this was caused by the fact the hotel was fully booked. They suggested me to book another standard room a few levels lower (my room was at the 12th floor), so internet speed might be faster. I didn't even consider! Furthermore, I found an insect in the bathroom. See pictures attached. There was no optinon to get a free upgrade or a late check-out. I decided not to put any more efforts in this hotel and will never come back. How can this hotel ever advertise with 5-stars.. They even don't deserve 3 stars..
