No lo que esperabaEsta fue nuestra primera experiencia con departamentos de alquiler via expedia y hubo par detalles que hicieron que mi opinión no sea alta. 1. Deberían advertirte el rato que reservas estos lugares que necesariamente tienes que contactarte con el número de contacto de la reserva. Nosotros esperábamos que alguien este en la propiedad para recibirnos pero no fue así - en realidad como era nuestro primer destino y viajamos sin roaming nos toco hacer malabares para poder contactarnos con esta gente. Recién ahi nos enteramos que ellos nos iban a dar un código para entrar al edificio y luego donde encontrar la llave para entrar al departamento. 2. Las fotos te dan la idea de que es más grande de lo que realmente es, pero en general el tamaño de la suite estuvo bien. 3. Sabemos que no es un hotel, pero si es un apartamento que usualmente lo rentas esperábamos que tuviera lo básico, por suerte viajamos con un "kit de emergencia" de shampoo y jabón que nos sirvió durante nuestra estadía. Y que de cierta manera lo entendimos, lo que si nos pareció muy mal es que ni siquiera había papel higiénico. 4. El colchón necesita ser cambiado de urgencia, literalmente estaba tan aplastado de un lado que en la noche sentías que te ibas a caer de la cama. 5. Te dicen que tienes internet pero no te dicen como funciona ni nada (un pequeño papel o libro donde te comente el tema de la clave o algo por el estilo), por suerte nos topamos con alguien que nos indico que buscar y nos dijo seguramente ahí estará un código prueben eso - por suerte funcionó. 6. Fue muy útil tener lavadora en la suite - era una lavadora/secadora incorporada pero nuevamente, seria muy útil tener un tema de instrucciones teniamos un poco de dudas sobre el uso de la secadora así que preferimos no usarla.

Nice, but....If you value communication with the place where you stay, wifi, or toilet paper, don't stay here. I, personally, would stay closer in the city as you lose a lot of tourist time traveling back and forth. Otherwise location was great, flat was clean (as can be expected), and comfortable enough for three adults living our of suitcases for a week. Very near the tube and a small convenience store, as well as the 3 Kings Pub and a couple of pizza joints. Flexiflats left a ridiculous amount to be desired, as customer service representative n the travel industry should always be number one. Apt 4, 2nd FL.

Absolute scamAn absolute scam. We had a paid reservation, through Booking.com, for two nights, and upon arrival the check-in code did not work. We were just then informed that we had been overbooked (!) and only through Booking.com could we get an alternative option for our stay. They offered no alternative whatsoever, despite the reservation having been paid in January. Avoid The Kensington Residencies at all costs: unhelpful and disappointing service (rather, non-service!).

Terrible!Called them before arrival to ask if we could leave our luggage before checkin. This was okay. Only there is no one present who will take it. Then at arrival I got the entreecode by telephone because the room should be ready. To our big surprise all the luggage and personal stuff of other guests were scattered thoughout the place... so we left and called the agency again. They said they would contact the guests who hadnt left and would clean the apartment. So we left with our luggage and went into the city. Not quite comfortable with all your luggage with you, mind you... at 1600h I got a call that the room was ready so we headed back. The room was open they said and it was.... it looked asif everything was in good order. Only the luggage of former guests was still in the hallway outside our door. We wanted to close our door with the key which was left for us on the table. This key was not working so we could not lock our door. Again I called the agency. They said it was the right key and I was appearently not working the lock correct. After many calls the agency promised us someone would come to help. We decided to wait in the room and watch television because we could not leave... the tv was not working as well... At this time it was already 2100h and i tried to contact the agency again and again but there was no response. So we decided to go to sleep. What a disappointment! Our whole evening gone! At 0030h !!!! I got a message that they couldnot send anyone... so they woke us up as well pfffff. The next morning we looked in the hallway and the former guests had pickedup their luggage finally. And what was laying in front of our door: the RIGHT key!! So all the time they had been telling me I was doing something wrong with the other key it became clear this was not the right key at all. So now we could finally lock our door and go out.... about the tv I heared never again... it did not work our entire stay.... After I sent the message that the key was the problem all along and that because they did not respond as should, i asked for some restitution or discount which is in order I think. I never even got an answer from them. Other problem beside the key and the tv; the studio is not clean at all! I walked around on my bear feet and after an hour my soles were black of the dirt!! The wifi is also not working. Further, if you think this place is situated in the highclass area of Kensington you are mistaken; this is West Kensington and the neighboorhood is not that good at all! So after travelling the whole world in my entire life I definitely can say: this has been the worst place I have ever stayed in. Do not ruin your time in London with a stay at this place!

Filthy!The most filthy room we have ever seen in a hotel. (See pictures of stained sheets when we arrived, filthy carpet, mould on floorboards, and protruding nails.) We woke up with horrible headaches and left the room after one night because of the conditions. There is no front desk and no phone in the room. Management was unreachable (no email provided and they don't answer their phone). Consumers be alert! The photos on their website are appealing, but the reality is far different.
