  Great spot for outdoor activities and great location.

  I enjoyed our stay there and overall the service, comfort, food and pricing was wonderful. The only suggestion I would have is to get a new vacuum cleaner. The room smelled from the cleaning you get from either an older bag or just an old vacuum. I usually travel with Febreeze so that helped. But overall, the place was great!

  Great place to bring the whole family.

  Booked a two bedroom cottage and had a great time with the family. Cottage had everything we needed and kids loved the game room. Kelly at the front desk was fantastic at check in. Will definitely bring the family again!

  Great accommodations in peaceful setting

  Spouse and I stayed 4 nights in one of the 1 BR cottages near the marina. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped/nicely furnished, and clean. The screen porch was wonderful! The cottages are spaced out to provide privacy, not on top of each other like some resorts. The staff at the lodge was very friendly. The nightly rate included breakfast, which made it an even better value. The food was good, and due to COVID it was carry-out only. We simply called in our order and it was ready for pick-up in about 10 min, hot and fresh. Really much easier than having to go to the lodge to eat, and there are not a lot of breakfast options nearby. (Cindy's on the Barge was not opened every day for breakfast, not sure if that was due to COVID.) HIGHLY recommend staying here. Great location, easy to get to and the marina is right there. LOVED our stay there and if we return to the area, we will definitely stay there again.

  Beautiful Vacation Spot

  We enjoyed 3 days at Kentucky Lake in the lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable and of good size. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Food in the lodge dining room was delicious. It was a nice vacation in 2020

  I Must be missing something

  I see all of these raving reviews which led me to booking here for an overnight trip with my family. I must say that the front desk staff was very kind. Nothing negative to say about them. You can also tell that they try their hardest to clean the cottages. That is where the goodness ends though. There was a half living mouse stuck to a sticky trap in one of our bedrooms. I say half, because it had been squirming so long it tore itself apart, but was still breathing. The walls and baseboards were damaged throughout. The couch was new...in 1984. And had tears in it. The bathroom was well worn. The screened porch had many holes in the screen but the fix was someone stuffing toilet paper in the holes to plug them. There were remnants of old decorations taped to the walls. I know this is a cabin, but it was severely under maintained. Were very much looking forward to the breakfast. I got mine down, but my kids could not tolerate it. The eggs were stringy, gravy tasted like vinegar, and meat was burned. I would not make this trip again to stay at this place.
